“I dont eat fish, dont like gammon. I was not paying 17.50 for a pudding”

“Lovely stay, great hotel on a beautiful positive with far reaching views.”

“Stayed in room 416. Our main problem was the heat. I asked for the heating to be turned off so we could sleep and she said it was on auto and would go off soon. (We found it difficult to sleep due to the temp of the room) it came on again early in the morning. We used 2 fans but could not stand the heat in the room. It was a relief to go down to breakfast and escape it”

“We love this hotel the staff are amazing and polite very helpful, This is our third stay in two months the hotel is very clean and comfortable the breakfast also excellent cannot wait to visit again soon, Thank you for looking after us .”

“Comfortable and friendly, liked the spa pool and health suite . Not sure why the Christmas tree with lights was put up on weekend of 10 /11 October !”

“Loverly old property, they are keeping it in good order, we had a sea view which was brilliant.”

“Lovely view”

“Noisy ppl next door”

“Gastropub on site, car park, convenience”

“Good for a night or two. Tired, empty large corridors. Walls are thin. But it's warm, and in a decent area”

“The room was ok but was not serviced daily. The heating only came on for around an hour in the morning and as it is October perhaps should have been a couple of hours at night. The staff were polite and friendly.”

“Always enjoy our stays at the Bike & Boot, friendly staff, relaxing areas to sit and read with a coffee and cake or drink from the bar, evening food is good and great location for beach walks”

“The property is clean and basic, in comparison to others we have stayed in at The Bay. However, the listing could be made clearer. Guests should be aware that there is no WiFi connection, they need to bring, towels, hairdryer and there are no basic cleaning products or toiletries supplied.”

“We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings”

“We stayed for two nights in the Marrakesh suite and loved it. A huge comfy bed, air conditioning, mini fridge, lots of storage and a large TV. Upstairs is a large jacuzzi bathroom complete with bathrobes and slippers. The host, Debbie was fantastic, she always seemed to be on duty and was very helpful. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and could be taken in the dining room or in your suite.”

“Good location, really nice chap, would go again”

“We had a wonderful stay. Easy instructions, helpful host and a lovely room to stay in. Very clean and the bed was comfy. Blessed also with glorious weather in October!! The only point I’d raise was the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but it worked and was hot!! Will definitely rebook!!”

“Very friendly host. Great value”

“Really lovely beachfront property with a balcony over the beach. Check in was easy as was parking and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s a great location and the apartments are really nice. Would recommend.”
