“Lovely old property in need of some TLC. My room was in the basement so was a bit fusty but the bed was comfy and there was lots of hot water for showering.”

“We only stayed for 1 night with our dogs, the grounds of the hotel are stunning with lovely views. We were only given 1 bottle of water for our room, when booking I was advised the additional supplement for pets would ensure plenty water in the room, this was not the case but we had plenty with us anyway so didn't see the point in mentioning it. “We were instantly made to feel welcome when checking in, everything was explained to us regarding the facilities the dining arrangements and the bars. Very friendly and polite staff too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”

“You have to go looking for staff, reception desk and bar, all good when you find them. More light in the rooms is needed, controlled by the main switch, over the dresser and the main floor area.”

“From checking in to checking out the experience was first class. The staff were warm and welcoming with a professional and friendly attitude. The breakfast was excellent as was dinner in the restaurant. We will definitely be back again. Thanks to everyone for making our wedding anniversary weekend so special.”

“Booked here for mine and my partners 2nd anniversary! Room was bigger than I thought! (Good thing) Nice and clean! Air-conditioning which was a life saver with the weather at the moment! Ended up having a Sunday lunch at the pub next door to the rooms and it was the best Sunday lunch I've had out! Staff we're great and attentive! Would definitely return!”
