“This was my fifth stay at the Palace Hotel, I also go to Buxton Opera House to see a show. We booked dinner and breakfast at the hotel.Check in was great, very pleasant receptionist.Our evening meal last night was lovely, great service from a pleasant waitress and the meal was very tasty! I had a good night's sleep in room 301,it has has a new bathroom suite with a lovely shower, I had no noise disturbances from other guests going into their rooms. Self service breakfast was great! “I had a great short break here, the staff, the services and general standards were really good. Only downsides were the bed was two singles put together, and the spa closed at 8pm, probably should be more like 9/10pm, which I didn't expect for £360 per night, other than that I'd recommend staying here. ”

“Clean and comfortable, friendly welcome, good food. Ideal in the recent hot weather as the stone built building kept the rooms cool! I’ll hopefully be back with my dog. ”

“A short two night stay. We have stayed here half a dozen times over many years. The buildings are beautiful 17th Century and the decor is sympathetic to the period. Food is a good standard they have an AA Rosette. Quiet location and enthusiastic staff. We strongly recommend it!”
