Host was very accommodating by offering to deliver to-go breakfasts as we had an early morning flight. I recommend the Lanikai Brewing Co for dinner if you stay here- the best food we ate in Hawaii for adults and kids- also great beer and excellent cocktail lists with low-key come as you are feel (i.e. sweatpants).”

“A peaceful getaway in the rain forest near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with a great setup. We loved the privacy, the space, the easy access (that still gave a feeling of remoteness), the comfortable bed, the gas fireplace, the whirlpool tub and the wonderful kitchen. Everything seemed brand new. The house has been designed with several features that make me think the owner or designer is Japanese, including a genkan and a tanuki statue at the entry. The only (minor) complaint would be...

“Very nice cabin for family. The treat basket was delicious with papaya, bananas, and danish. The 2 gallons of water were good for consumption. Catchment water was good for bathing and dish washing. Staff personnel are low stress with an easy process. We'll be back. ”
