“Great hotel in a great location. Service 1st class”

“Unfortunately there was a very large wedding on the weekend we were there which definitely impacted negatively on our stay as there were lots of very loud people in the public areas. It would be better if they could be allocated areas that were specifically for them. Also disappointed in the menu for the dining room. I did not feel that the options reflected the rest of the facilities in the hotel. ”

“We arrived late from a very long journey from south east England so we're tired and hungry on our arrival ,Moya and her husband Mark gave us a warm welcome and we're so extremely kind making us a food parcel to make a meal out of to save us venturing out after 8pm when not many shops open or around in the village. The property was exactly how was described and for anyone wanting quiet countryside with rolling hills as a view ,you won't be disappointed. The beauty is you are completely remote...

“If you are looking for a boutique hotel with a good "value for money", here you are. In the city centre, wide rooms, very clean, lovely furniture, warm welcome, nice breakfast. The cherry on the cake is the restaurant downstairs: lovely food and very nice wines. I will stay here again”

“A nice break overall. One criticism would be the shower needs a mat as the shower floor was very slippy. Food was very good and the staff excellent. ”

“We had a lovely room but access to the hotel for people with mobility issues would be an issue as there is a steep flight of steps to reception and to the rooms. Not ideal if bringing heavy cases. Decor is lovely but in terms of cleanliness our bath was not thoroughly cleaned as it was oily on the sides. ”
