“The castle is absolutely gorgeous. I stayed in one of the rooms in the outbuilding in the grounds, surrounded by peacocks, and it was lovely to walk across the lawn in the rain in the early morning for breakfast in the castle restaurant. The drawing room is incredible, with a great bar and genuinely spectacular places to sit in medieval window seats and beautiful couches. The staff are all wonderful. The rooms in the outbuilding are grand, but a lot of the fixtures are getting a bit run down....

“Robert was an excellent host, very helpful and kind. Breakfast all cooked to order, fresh and homemade. The house and bedroom was luxurious with everything you could ever need. Views are spectacular - 360 degree. Berwick-Upon-Tweed 10 min car journey.”
