“I take this opportunity to comment on Hotels.com listing. Parking was included in our package at a most reasoable rate for such a great room. However, the fact that this hotel only offers Valet parking was not noted. This should be noted in the listing, as it impacts luggage/packing choices. The hotel staff and property were great. The Hotels.com listing could have been better. ”

“Beautiful historic building, restored and updated. Stylish lobby, happening bar scene (but unheard on room floors). Large stylish rooms. Easy walk to all downtown PDX atteactions. ”

“I booked a last minute stay here. I was happily surprised with how nice the room was. The design and art was super cute and unique. Everything was very clean. The coffee bar was excellent with real half and half. I had to transition to another hotel (Dossier) for my final night of the trip and felt disappointed that I hadn’t been able to extend my stau at the Royal Sonesta. ”

“Upon arrival they asked me for a cc as a guarantee. it appeared that my 3 credit cards were declined. I offered to leave cash. I was asked to cancel the booking and leave, despite having been a customer for years. I asked to retry and Then by changing pos the cards were accepted but no apology was made. I asked for the welcome btl… because it was part of the offer. No cleaning of the rooms for 3 days!!! but it was not specified in the offer, and in the bill an additional daily fee for amenities,...
