The rest of the staff were fine but we pretty much only interacted with Shine during our few days here. Her name is SHINE at the front desk. She was unbelievable!! Such a kind soul. She went over and above to make our stay more comfortable and one of the best experiences we have had at any hotels. “There was no one at the front desk at any time, entering or exiting the lobby. Had to call for check in and check out. On check out approximately 10am a staff appeared (after calling her on the phone) in a bra and sweat pants, barely awake. Carpets throughout were awful(dirty and ruffled). The smell of weed on entering and while walking down the hallway was very prominent.”

“It was a clean room, however, for the price, you could get a way better room somewhere else. The lady that registered my stay, was rude, distracted and extremely slow. The lady doing my check out was much better. I stay in hotels a lot for work, on average 60% is spent in hotels vs. home. They really needs to step it up.”

“Everything was fantastic EXCEPT we cooked all night as they keep the hotel rooms at 74 and you can not open a window or adjust the settings… we had the worst sleep because it was so hot in the room…. My husband and I both sleep well in cooler environments… but had to keep getting up to put cold water on a face cloth. Unfortunately this will be a deal breaker for future stays ☹️”

“I arrived earlier than check-in time around 3:20pm and was told that they would call me once my room is ready. I was asked to give my number and that I would be called when my room is ready. We remained in the lobby right in front of the desk for almost 1 hour and 30 minutes, and I didn’t receive any calls or messages. It was already 4:45pm when I saw all of the cleaning ladies beginning to leave the hotel. That was when I went up to ask the front desk if my room was ready or what was going on...

“Second stay at this hotel - The room was clean, large and quite nice. Breakfast was great. Only complaint is the noise. I think a lot of families stay at this hotel which is fine; but, it makes for a fair amount of noise from kids running in the halls, playing, etc. Probably just constructed with really thin walls so nothing can really be done which sucks because otherwise a great hotel.”

“We booked this hotel for the waterslide to give our son a fun family getaway. Instead, it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The issues started immediately. The entrance was crowded with people smoking and yelling. Our room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke the entire stay, despite opening the window and running the loud air conditioner constantly (all night) The adjoining room was the biggest problem. “The building/room layout and amenities were excellent, the rooms were clean and modern. Love the 24/7 citrus water/coffee/tea station and that they set breakfast bags for people checking out early. The only things that kept me from giving 5 stars are the kid's splash area was out of commission our whole stay and one of the bed frames / mattresses was kind of rickety in our room. We felt comfortable there and would stay again though, our little one loved it and said it was "so cool"!”
