“My husband booked this hotel because he thought it was cool that it was an older building and the rooms were only in the 2nd and 3rd floor above a bar & restaurant. The room looked cute- modern decor in an old building. I’m not a neat freak but I do inspect the room. We hadn’t touched the bed and right there under the decor pillow lay two long stands of hair that was clearly not either of ours. Yuck. In the shower, I found several pieces of hair. “We were not told of the Spa's many days closed. This was annoying, esp. since we had asked when we inquired about staying there. We were not sure why hours have become so restricted. On the other hand, our room was outstanding. We ate at the hotel more than planned. You waste a lot of food, by overfilling plates.”

“I did not feel safe staying here. The room smelled like stale cigarettes. There was not much left of a lumpy mattress. The walls were so thin I didn’t get much sleep. A homeless guy in a wheelchair was right outside my door when I left one time.”

“Check in was easy as well as check out. Rooms could have been cleaner there was dust and some dirt on the walls and ceiling I wouldn’t stay here for a vacation but for a night after a concert I might again. Room service was nice”

“The area was in an industrial part of town and not the best part of town! Parking was OK. The hotel staff was very good. We didn’t have any interaction with the housekeeping staff other than getting clean towels. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff was very accommodating. The only thing negative in the room was I didn’t have a very comfortable chair and there was no counter space in the bathroom.”

“Rooms very dated compared to Expedia online pics .. overall property is not in great condition and the casino definitely attracts the scarier population of Reno.. front desk staff was very nice though ”

“On the last day, noticed A/C filter needed to be changed, probably the reason why im having trouble breathing now and feel like my asthma of 25 years ago seems to be coming back... With a vengeance! Parking is a bit tight especially since Many customers seem to be bringing in their big Chevys and Ford F-150's. the lot next to it is parking for Firestation Personnel which has space but you run the risk of getting called out by hotel staff or Fire Dept.”

“Just awful. The staff was friendly, but overloaded. Sheets were gross and had cigarette burns. The room smelt terrible.”

“Decent property. Like the shows and the staff. It is a little outdated and worn. Don’t like getting a price on Expedia then having to pay extra resort fees. Put fees upfront.”

“A decent room for a decent price. This property is actually 2 hotels in one U-shaped building (Howard Johnson and Travelodge) and they share a parking lot. The room was clean and had a lightly mod aesthetic. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. The free breakfast in the front office wasn't a huge spread but hey, it's free!”

“There was someone else’s hair in the tub, there was no plug for the tub or the sink, the toilet was loose and so was the faucet at the sink. The door into the bathroom needed a scrub down. The sheets didn’t fit all the way over the mattress top and were stained (but hopefully clean?). The staff member at the front desk was friendly, though. It was tolerable for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn’t return here.”

“Room was in horrible conditions , the blankets and towels were smelly had stains of lipstick or something . I had to call to get more towels , I also had to call for toilet paper and no one answer , thank god I had wipes ! No one answers the phone , no breakfast . The room smell really bad. The coffee mater was super dirty . Do not stay here !!!!!”
