Guest house a Downstate New York

“The property was double booked and they took my money and the code was never received therefore I could not check in to the property. I’m still waiting on a refund of $416.02 . The property should not be listed if people are occupying it. I was distraught when I found out this on my birthday weekend scrambling to find a place to go at almost midnight. This person should be banned from renting out this property so that it doesn’t happen again!”

“It was a quiet place to stay. I had came in town for an emergency with my 4 year old and 7month baby. All hotels was sold out for July 4th in the area. The outside of the house is a little Sketchy but once inside I felt safe because there were three security locks to each door and the rooms were double locked. I only came to sleep and during the day I was gone mostly. I would recommend just bringing your own towel and wash cloth and soap lol. But I would definitely recommend someone to stay here...

“Perfect place to stay the night. You can hear the train passing by, but there are ear plugs and a white noise machine in the room. It didn't bother us at all, but it might other folks”

“Really liked the location and set up. The room was clean with a nice sized bathroom. If you call up the hotel before check in they will pick you up from the ferry.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the Block Island cottage. The water view with a variety of boats passing by was awesome. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully stocked with whatever one might need during a stay. We will be back again, soon I hope!”

“Dopo tante ore di guida arrivare al B&B di Bill è stato come un sogno, in mezzo a una campagna dove la sera le lucciole danzano tra gli alberi c'è una casetta curata e accogliente che non dime3nticheremo. La mattina dopo abbiamo visitato l'outlet village e i km in più fatti per arrivare a Stony Creek (15 minuti) sono valsi la pena! Unico rimpianto non aver previsto di rimanere lì un paio di notti in più.”

“It's a nice looking property from the outside but not in the best of neighbourhoods. The smoke detector on the 2nd floor didn't have a cover on it so not sure if it worked. I had to ring the owner up at 23.00 as I couldn't get the front door opened. You had to pull the handle as you entered the door code.”
