Hotel a Duckmaloi

“This is a budget motel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room had the usual budget motel musty smell. The shower stall is small. But on the positive side, the room had a couch, a dining table, and the table settings needed to have breakfast in the room. The heater worked well, as did the available blankets.”

“We had room 15 but the bed sloped downwards against the wall. Not flat. Very tiny ...... But bathroom was modern . Clean and tidy . No shops nearby and need a car to go to the shops . Reception wasn't open in the evening when guests arrive . Denise was good and welcoming. Expedia rates are much better than the room rates if booked direct . No heater in the room either and temp plunged to under 7 degrees while we were there. ”

“We had a lovely stay at the Kyah Hotel. The room was clean and well‑maintained, and the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. It’s a great place for families with young children. My daughter especially loved having access to the tennis court and had a fantastic time playing. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, as the options were a bit limited. Expanding the variety would make the experience even better. “Room was not cleaned, there was spider cobwebs under TV unit, bathroom. Floor was dirty with dirt and gum was stuck on the floor under the bed. Lizard was there in the bathroom. Other than that there was no issue. ”

“Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel.”

“This is obviously a historical motel with beautiful views. No lifts so expect to carry bags up stairs. ”

“Our stay was very nice. The cottage is cosy and homy. But the temperature in the bathroom was really cold. The diversity of the birds in the garden was incredible. Its a nice place for hiking in the blue mountains ”

“An inexpensive stop over but don’t stay more than one night. Room was noisy with traffic noise and the interior needs updating. Check in was easy and friendly and the location with walking distance to town was close. Bed was super hard and new pillows are a must but the bath towels were excellent. ”

“Parking was good and food at the Bistro was nice too. Hotel is old and rooms inside are adequate but run down and a bit noisy (if you get noisy neighbors). You get what you pay for.”

“Rooms and location was perfect for venturing to the Glow Worm Tunnels and Zig Zag Railways. As it was Easter the restaurant was closed so cannot comment on that. ”
