“Really great hotel in a perfect location... Our room was perfect, clean, large & well furnished. Bed, linen & towels all freshly laundered. Evening meal was well presented with lovely fresh local products. The menu and choices were very varied. ( Maybe not too much choice if you dont eat red meat. ) The dining room is well set out and in the summer months would be lovely to be able to sit outside ( we visited January 2026 ) The breakfast menu was equally charming and a difficult decision...

“A good place to stay for three nights. Breakfast is fine even if I would expect more warm dishes and drinks (milk, for instance). I can't understand why there are no smaller towels in the bathroom and why no hairdryer is provided. I brought mine as I had seen other reviewers. One more thing to take care of is the staff at the reception. All very young people who didn't know anything about the area and the town. That's a shame! ”

“Non solo non mi hanno concesso l’upgrade gratuito, ma di tutte le tipologie di camere disponibili ci è stata data la più piccola, assolutamente scomoda per due. Il parcheggio che doveva essere gratuito è stato invece a pagamento. Prezzo colazione assolutamente spropositato rispetto a quanto fornito. Letto scomodissimo.”

“Was an impromptu stay checking in and oit was easy, comffortable rooms and very clean. Very reasonable price for stay. Resturant was fab staff were very prompt and friendly and food was amazing. We will definitely be back!”

“First time at this hotel. Would stay again. The hotel is beside the M62 we were in a room other side of hotel and didn’t hear the motorway at all. The room was big and clean. Bed comfortable. Tea & Coffee in room and a great little dressing table area. The hotel shares the car park with the Nags Head (which is a lovely pub great food) it’s also near a good Italians Da Sandro and Toby Carvery. Easy to get into town Huddersfield or Halifax. Good value for money ”
