“Camera: molto bella e caratteristica (la mansarda) per via del letto sotto gli abbaini Bagno: non finestrato, ma bello ed elegante Personale: molto gentile e disponibile (oltre che paziente con chi come me litiga con la lingua ) Sala colazione /ristorante: molto bella, la colazione molto variegata. Cena al ristorante siamo stati bene. Aggiungo e concludo che dall’Hotel il centro è a due passi ”

“Non lontano dalle stazioni dei treni e dei bus, dal centro, cattedrale, castle, musei, Flass vale, Wharthon park, Aykley Heads, river Wear. Dopo la consegna delle chiavi della stanza e la scelta dell'orario della colazione, per evitare l'affollamento, parte la vostra vacanza. Pulizia e distanziamento sociale garantiti. Non è comunque epoca per accessi assicurati a musei o monumenti. Tanti i percorsi a piedi o in bicicletta, se ne siete forniti. Il luogo è tranquillo e piacevole.”

“Strict check in time of 3 pm when kiosk opens - then it wouldn’t accept overseas postcode so staff had to check me in anyway. Spacious comfortable room. Enjoyable breakfast buffet - added at extra cost when booking. Convenient location just a short walk to Durham Old Town - Castle and Cathedral. ”

“I enjoyed my stay at travel lodge Durham but the room charge was excessive for the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and deserve praise for efficiency and friendliness”

“Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back.”

“Handy location to Durham and countryside. Clean cozy and friendly clear communications. Nice touch to have some supplies available on arrival. Felt unclear where to park as other locals parked up but I’m sure it would have been clear should I have asked.”
