“Loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of Bath with plenty of restaurants to choose from close by.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, more so than in many more expensive hotels we have stayed in.
Rooms are compact and basic although very cleverly designed. It’s a comfortable bed to sleep in with a good shower. Suited us as we are usually out touring all day. ”
“We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start.
The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful.
We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service.
The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...
“We booked a Premium room and we were really happy with it. Large spacious room with four poster style bed, large bathroom with freestanding bath. Classy contemporary decor, good tea/coffee amenities.
We booked dinner outside in the garden, great food. Cooked breakfast was included with the room, cooked to order and piping hot.
Would recommend and return.”
“This hotel is in a beautiful location - our room was clean and welcoming. It was hot with no AC but there was a fan in the wardrobe.

“We had the Queen Mary I superior suite which was gorgeous. It had the biggest window of all the accommodation rooms. The bathroom had a stained glass window which was so unique. Everywhere I went in the Castle and its grounds I was awestruck by all the details. We did the History Walk with Phillip which was so interesting to hear about Edward Stafford and Henry viii.

“Very nice welcome and very clean room and hotel. Very quiet, had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was very expensive but it was very good quality with probably local sausages (large) nice back bacon and all the trimmings. Other cooked options were available. Would stay there again and can recommend for sure.”

“L'Hotel ha tutto ciò che serve, è in un parco tranquillo dagli alberi secolari. 2 percorsi di 18 buche, 2 ristoranti e castello di Caldicot a 5 minuti d'auto. Anche Cardiff si raggiunge in meno di un'ora. Davvero un posto ideale per rilassarsi, fare sport e visite a luoghi della tradizione gallese”

"Very nice stay. Hotel is in good position for both city Centre and temple meads station. The room was very spacious and comfortable. They clean it every third day for ecosustainability, it was not a problem though, because it was quite tidy to begin with. Staff was really helpful, I was offered a small upgrade at my arrival"
