“This is our "go-to" hotel when visiting Door County. We have 2 dogs and really appreciate that their dog-friendly rooms are all in a separate building from the main hotel. Everyone in that building has dogs, so if your dog barks or whatever, everyone there "gets it" because we are all dog parents! “My room was right next to the highway which impacted my sleep. This room was very very small, but I was allowed to bring my Labrador along. You cannot leave the dog in the room, so that is a bit disruptive if you want to go out for dinner. The locks on the doors are as old as the facility and tricky to learn how to use. I locked myself out once. The staff was great and came to let me in, but scolded me for leaving the dog in the room alone when I only went to my vehicle to get something. ...

“I went to bed after my shower and my feet were black. I carried a towel from the pool to the lobby and I had a puddle of water so I used the towel to sop up the water and the towel was dirtier than it should be. I'm not handicapped but the tub was high, to crawl into maybe a grab bar to help? The drain in the sink was closed and couldn't get it to work but it did drain but slowly. The beds were really comfy so that was a plus. The side door was unlocked most of the 2 days we stayed.”

“Nicely updated. Clean. Towels were a bit worn, but clean. Hours for pool and hot tub could be longer. An earlier morning swim or hot tub would have been appreciated. Opened too late to be hot. Fire pit and back area was superb and tranquil. Overall nice place and good location.”

“We found this place by accident and it was incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back. Only disappointment was the lack of dietary options for breakfast. Daughter has a dairy allergy and they had no dairy free milk for cereal. Only options were fruit, solid meat plate or dry cereal. ”
