“Great place to stay. The staff are very friendly and easy to work with. The rooms have all recently been redone very clean. In general the vibe is old school traditional roadside motel but when you go in your room it’s up to date and the back deck outside your room opens up to a lovely yard with a nice pool and they have lots of fireside/lawn toys to keep you occupied. I would definitely stay here again”

The location was perfect (we were visiting friends in the area), the price was reasonable, the staff and facilities were excellent (we particularly appreciated having the quality restaurant in the inn and had both our dinner & breakfast there). We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. It’s like we were an annoyance to her this...
