“We had an excellent stay at the Fairfield in Effingham. The rooms were immaculate and recently updated, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was quick and easy, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. The location was convenient, the amenities were great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free experience.”

“For someone who likes comfort and is used to a newer place, it’s not worth it. I would call it bed and breakfast (not sure about quality of breakfast though because for us it was a quick in and out, so we didn’t have time to check on it.) The room we stayed overnight was outdated and definitely needs a lot of renovation. The only positive thing was it’s right off the interstate road (probably is good for drivers.) It was first and last time we stayed there.”

“Dirty, poor facilities maintenance, went across the street for coffee at a gas station. It’s time has come and gone. Would have left if not for the late hour and being road weary.”

“The first room we were assigned smelled like barf. The 2nd room smelled strongly of over-used cleaning products, but the floor was sticky. It was livable for 1 night, since we had pre-paid. I would not visit this property again.”
