“Extremely personable landlord, Craig. Room was prepared ready for us to check in early (off to a wedding after a long drive) and sandwiches provided on request which was very much appreciated. The room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Little communal kitchen area provided everything needed for a late night snack and breakfast which was a nice touch. Heard from local friends at the wedding that the food is great too. “We asked hotel to confirm we could have a parking space, they confirmed by email but neglected to mention it would cost £15. Check on was great, friendly person and helpful. Room was nice but metal clothes rack by bed didn’t leave much room and I bashed my knee on drawer knob. Venue was not great for sleep, they had very loud music until 01:15 an we did not sleep well as road was also loud from quite early. Breakfast was ok but staff were everywhere still cleaning up, kept walking past with...

“Mi è piaciuta la stanza tenuta benissimo e colorata, cucina fornitissima di tutto, posto molto pulito e in ordine, il padrone di casa gentilissimo, unica nota negativa che si sentono i rumori della stanza a fianco ”

“While close to town center getting there requires a walk up a very steep hill--not suitable for old people. The hotel was helpful in terminating our stay after one day. A well placed hotel for younger people requiring a basic hotel. Breafast was good. Evening menu should be avoided.”

“Charming historic country pub draped in wisteria at this time of year. Our room was in a modern courtyard which blended very well with the original building. Room clean and well planned. Excellent breakfast - nice thick bacon and delicious sausages. ”

“Ok but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room. Room wasn’t the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope) Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked. Staff were fantastic though.”

“albergo di vecchia struttura, ma le stanze ed i bagni sono ristrutturati con materiali moderni, molto confortevoli, metropolitana ad un minuto a piedi. Lo consiglio a tutti anche se fuori dal centro e’ collegato benissimo ”
