“This is normally our favorite hotel in the area, Fairfield is the best chain IMO...this time we were disappointed. “Breakfast and bar were very nice front desk guy, not so nice. Wife had bite from there beds and he threatened to kick us out like it was our fault they have bugs! Then told us we can’t have any visitors that we can sit with our parents in the lobby! Like I’m a little kid. Never have I heard you can’t have guests in a hotel. Furthermore I never had a guest. Very disrespectful. Then I cleaned my room after I got home from work and set the dirty shower towels and 3 little grocery bags with garbage....

“The hotel felt more like a motel. The bathroom has been poorly redone. There was mold in the shower and overall it didn’t feel clean. It was fine for one night, but a lower quality than the standard level of room you get at these large chain hotels. I stayed here the night before a marathon that started right down the street. Often hotels will have early morning coffee and earlier breakfast to accommodate runners. This hotel didn’t, which was disappointing especially as the race...

“It was dirty, the pool and hot tub were "under maintenance" (they just did not want to upkeep them), the beds were stained, the sheets were stained and wrinkled- the rooms smelled of smoke, the bathroom had drop ceilings (garunteed mold!!) the shower curtain rod was practically falling off of the wall, the drains smelled like something was rotting in them. There are burn marks on the carpet and all over the hotel room. There was a mysterious wet spot on the floor and the carpets themselves felt...
