“My Fourth of July stay at the Red Roof Inn Hilton Head Island was extremely disappointing. The room was unsanitary, with blood on the curtains and dirty diapers left outside. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi, which was an advertised amenity, did not work at all. Since I work remotely, that alone made the room unusable. “This property was a huge disappointment. The bathroom was dirty, the baseboards and walls were filthy, and the overall cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. On top of that, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. I would not recommend staying here. Between the poor condition of the property and the lack of customer service, I will not be returning.”

“The room was great but the grounds and pools were disgusting. I have been staying at the Omni for ten years and the last few years it has been going down the drain. High prices for crappy food and a resort fee for very nasty pools. The bugs and ants were horrible due to all the stuck food on the pool decks and around the chairs. I really wish they would improve because it was an awesome place before.”

“The bathroom was not what was displayed online. We did not get master tub and the shower filled up past our ankles when showering. It would not drain unless water off. Also the bathroom door was damaged and would not close all the way, there was a large crack where u can see in. No true privacy. The resort itself was nice but room not as expected or worth the price.”

“Excellent location. Just minutes walking to the beach. Rooms are sufficiently sized. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am and includes a variety of bagels, yogurt, cereal/granola, hard boiled eggs, fruits, fruit juice and coffee. There is swimming pool with towels. The only thing to caution is that the property charges $10 per night parking in their premises. This was in the fine print and not explicitely disclosed during the booking.”
