“This place is adorable. Amanda was welcoming and helpful. Our room, the “Fishing Room”, was filled with fun things to look at and had a big clawfoot tub in the beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t come all the way from Florida to stay in some chain hotel—this place is off the beaten path, quaint, clean, safe, and I’d highly recommend it. We would absolutely stay here again. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Pioneer Ridge BB. The hotel is located at a beautiful and quiet place. It is a family owned place and feels like home coming. The interior decorations are elegant and beautiful. Shannon is very nice. She heard that we had to leave early so she made sure that we had a warm and delicious breakfast by 7am. ”

“The cabin was very clean and the bed was quite comfy. The kitchen was well furnished. There were even enough eggs and milk for our breakfast along with coffee/ tea options. Granola bars and a few snack paks were a welcome treat. Great views of surrounding mts and atv tours are available at the office.”

“The room was nice and doable for our 1 night stay. We couldn’t do laundry because you had to get coins from the office, but no staff were in the office when we arrived or left in the morning. The room was very hot. It was like the heat was on high and no option to turn it down or off. Other than that, it was a good stay. ”

“Small older lakefront property with excellent dining room and service. Dock allows for boat and float plane access. Water sport equipment available for rent. Excellent front desk staff. Clean comfortable room although no maid service during our stay, towels available upon request. About a 10-minute drive to Wasilla.”

“This house was exactly as advertised. The master with the en suite was fabulous. Access to a washer and dryer was absolutely key.
Kitchen was fully stocked equipment wise with a ninja blender, toaster etc. (No air fryer - that would have been an extra bonus).
Minor issues:
- drawers sticking in fridge and freezer
- shampoo and conditioner provided was a great perk, I just wish it was slightly higher quality (dove or Pantene prov would be a step up).
