My first night was in room 1, which is unique in having no privacy - the screen door directly faces a high traffic area next to stairs to the upper level - I had to have the curtains closed when I was in the room - and noise from people passing at all hours due to poor soundproofing. Broken freezer and the solution was a plug in freezer that had been used for fish storage (so stinky that we couldn’t open the doors to the refrigerator or freezer) - a washer that faulted and couldn’t complete the spin cycle.
