“We really appreciated the restoration work here - they’ve kept the heritage feel of the hotel intact without making it feel dated. Despite being above a pub and right on a main road, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. Great location for exploring North Sydney. The common room and kitchen was a lovely surprise. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus that made mornings easy.”

I booked a room with a deck but never used it , as its very enclosed so not much sun and all the rooms above can look right down on you. Nice and quiet at night and aircon kept perfect temperature.
