Excellent séjour !
Très agréable location dans une résidence située entre 5mn à 10 mn à pieds de la plage, des commerces et des restaurants ! L'appartement est très bien exposé, en rez-de jardin avec une sympathique terrasse, bien agencé, très très bien équipé et au calme ! L'accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux et les propriétaires ont eu à cœur de satisfaire toutes nos attentes ; Nous n'avons absolument aucune critique à formuler et serions ravis d'y séjourner à nouveau à l'occasion d'un nouveau voyage à l'île Maurice !! Relaxed to the max
My partner and I stayed here for a fortnight, We had an early morning check in, Bala the owners brother met us with the key's and showed us the in's and out's of the apartment he was great. The apartment itself was clean and spacious with fully equipped kitchen. The pool was big enough, not crowded which was good. The location was perfect, only 5-10 minutes walk to the beach, restaurant's and supermarket. Overall when we come to flic en flac again we would definitely stay here.

Very good apartment in a very good location.
We had a very enjoyable stay at this very well equipped apartment in Flicen Flac.Bala was very helpful and was able to answer all our questions! Our only negative impressions were that the swimming pool would benefit from a complete tidy up, and the 4 sun beds and 6 lounging wooden boards are not enough for the amount of people using this pool!

L'appartement est spacieux et tout à fait conforme au descriptif et aux photos. Situé à proximité de restaurants, supermarché, de la plage de Flic en Flac (tout cela a pied ), et malgré tout au calme. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour Appartement que nous recommandons.

holidays like heaven
We spent three weeks with three persons in this beautiful accommodation and we were very pleased with this apartment . The rooms are spacious, the whole apartment is clean, the kitchen is very well equipped, the technical items (Internet router, TV, washing machine etc) are in a very good condition … there is nothing to be complained about. The complex (Les Orchidess) is well secured and in a good shape … the only thing to be mentioned is that the walk to the (beautiful) public beach of Flic-en-Flac is not so conveniant because of the cementery that has to be rounded every time, you want to go to the beach / restaurants (fortunatly there is a generous pool in the complex) … the way to the center of Flic-en-Flac with its shops and restaurants is not tooo far. Mandas brother Bala is very helpful and he has done a brilliant job. Thank you for that pleasant stay in Mauritius.

Appartement au top!
Appartement super bien équipé comme à la maison!très spacieux dans une résidence sécurisée très proche de la plage de flic en flac et des commerces. Petite terrasse fort agréable! Par contre on peut penser qu’il se situe au bord de la piscine par rapport aux photos mais il est coté jardin ce qui n’est pas du tout dérageant car beaucoup plus au calme! Je rajouterai un excellent rapport qualité prix! À bientôt j’espère!

Sehr schöner Familienurlaub!!!
Angenehmes, ruhiges Feriendomizil. Der nicht weit entfernte SPAR-Markt ist sehr gut sortiert, Restaurants, Snack-Stände und Bars in der Nähe. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank!!!

Très bel appartement grand et lumineux, totalement équipé et sécurisé, situé au calme et à 2 pas des commerces et de la plage. Nous reviendrons!!! Sur le front de mer, nous vous recommandons ces 2 restos: TIDEZ, resto-bistrot familial, succulent et à petit prix. Mmmm leurs cocktails et fruits de mer !!! Et la Marmite Mauricienne, restaurant plus grand, très sympa!, avec énormément de choix et un excellent rapport qualité-prix : ) Si vous voulez boire un bon verre... le O Beach bar est super sympa ! Gesamteindruck: wir waren zufrieden
Manda hat uns vorweg immer schnell geantwortet und bei allem geholfen was wir benötigt haben (Mietwagen, Koch etc), das war wirklich toll. Die Wohnung hat eine Putzfrau inkl die 2x in der Woche alles sauber macht, die Betten neu bezieht und alles wäscht, das war ebenfalls du. Die Wohnung liegt in einer Anlage die bewacht wird, ebenfalls super wobei die Gegend nicht gefährlich ist es gehört eben dazu und man fühlt sich dadurch irgendwie wohler. Die Wohnung an sich hat in der Küche das meiste was man braucht um sich selbst zu versorgen, man muss aber alles auch Zucker oder Salz selbst kaufen. Ich denke die Putzfrau beseitigt das aus Hygeniegründen. Die eine Klima funktioniert leider nicht so gut wie die im anderen Schlafzimmer, dadurch müffelt es ein wenig in dem Zimmer wenn man es nicht extrem runter kühlt. Die Schränke modern auch ganz schön, wir haben unsere Kleidung nicht darin aufgehängt. Ansonsten könnte die Wohnung mal hier und da eine Renovierung gebrauchen zum Beispiel die Bäder. Wir hatten in den 3 Wochen zwei Kakerlaken in der Wohnung obwohl wir 2x am Tag den Müll raus gebracht hatten. Zudem fehlt eine Geschirrspülmaschine wie wir finden. Platz dafür wäre in der Küche. Alles in allem ist die Wohnung groß und sicher, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig ok. Zum Strand läuft man 10min, zum nächsten Supermarkt ca 15min.

Great apartment
The apartment is very well equipped and maintained, everything worked perfectly well and we found all in line with the description. Very conveniently, our hosts had arranged for the airport transfers through Bala, who also handed over the apartment to us. The location is very convenient, it's close to the village and the beach. Note, however, that many roads don't have pavements and it's not always fun to walk there among lots of cars, especially with small kids and/or at night. A rental car is a good option to get around, with safe parking available next to the house. We can really recommend this apartment!

A nice stay in a nice place
Hi Manda Sorry for not reacting earlier, but because of the busy Christmas period It got a little bit out of my mind. After a difficult start in Amsterdam, due to the snow, we finally arrived in Mauritius one day later (without luggage for two days) but from that moment on we had an excellent time. It started at the airport where the friendly and helpful Bala was waiting for us to pick us up. He brought us safely to our apartment, situated in a quiet area but indeed close to the supermarket and the beach. The apartment is equipped well and luckily the airco is ok too because we are not used to the high night temperatures. During the day, when we were not at the beach or at the excellent swimming pool, we mostly sat outside on the terrace in front of the apartment. As a matter of fact, we were only inside the house for having a shower and for sleeping. In Mauritius people live outside and so did we. So we didn' t watch TV ( there are no Dutch or Flamish spoken channels on it like in most places in the world) but because of wifi, which was excellent we could listen to our favourite radio and news programmes. There was a small electrical problem but Bala assured us he would check and fix it. Mauritius is nice and we tried to visit the most important places of it on our own. Isle aux Cerfs is a beauty for sure and there are some other places with astonishing beaches. So we had a magnificent time over there with very sunny, hot days. When Bala drove us back to the airport he asked us if we were satisfied and when we would come back. We told him that we were very pleased about our stay and about him too, but he was surprised to hear dat we wouldn't come back in the next few years for the simple reason that there are still so many nice places in the world we would like to see. Besides of that a 14 hours flight to get there is also pretty tough. It is an excellent place for people ( and I have spoken several of them) who escape the cold winters in Europe and stay there for several months. So never say never never but for the next few years we would like to explore other horizons. Nevertheless we can highly recommend the apartment and we also would like to thank Bala and Manda of course too, for the quick and correct communication. Great apartment
Lovely apartment in a nice complex, not too noisy, and very clean (cleaner visits twice a week). The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and the air con in the bedrooms is a God send! Nice to be on the ground floor, though not directly by the pool which meant that it was peaceful. The pool is a good size and we often had it to ourselves. Security staff manned 24 hours which was reassuring (and useful if we had any local queries!). Short walk to local shops. We would definitely stay here again (and we have stayed at a number of places in Flic en flac over the years). Useful points to note - the wifi is limited and ran out after 10 days (but we are heavy users). Also, if you don't want cockroaches to fly in, keep your outer doors and windows closed after dark (and buy some cockroach spray to zap them if you do - this was the only time we saw cockroaches which are common in Mauritius). Tourist tips - we visited Casella and petted lions (well worth a visit). Snorkeling is good at Flic en flac beach (go to the end near the Spar) but if you want an even more amazing snorkeling experience, visit Blue Bay Marine Park - amazing! Thanks Ravin and Manda (and special thanks to your brother who waited for us to arrive when we were delayed) :)

Home away from Home
Manda was easy to contact and communications was swift, she helped with any queries I had prior to departure. I Arrived at apartments and was greeted by Bala, a really friendly guy who showed us around the apartment and how to operate TV , Wifi and the Water Heater. The apartment is full kitted out with a Flat screen TV and cable, I found the Wifi to be really hi-speed and streaming was easy. The kitchen has everything you need, and there is also an iron and iron table. Made good use of the swimming pool and Flic en flac beach and restaurants are only 6 mins walk away, plenty of off road car park space, both the apartments and car park are monitored 24/7 by on site security guards. The apartment is air conditioned and also has accordian steel grilles as added security and internal safes which are free. You can also use the landline telephone for local calls free. There is a maid who comes 2 times a week and keeps the apartment spotless. Plenty of charge points for iphones/ laptops / camcorder batteries. If you are looking for UK standard apartment with all your UK essentials in Mauritius, this apartment is for you. I would definitely use these apartments again and recommend. Sehr gute Lage, Appartment ist in Ordnung
Es ist eine sehr schöne Anlage mit einem Pool und nahe zum Meer. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Das einzige Negative ist aber, dass das Appartment nicht voll klimatisiert ist. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nur in den beiden Schlafzimmern. In der Küche und im Wohnzimmmer wäre eine Klimaanlage wünschenswert.

Nous avons était très bien accueilli et conseillé par Mr Bala dans le très bel appartement de Mr et Mme Carpen. Appartement très agréable à vivre, de plein pied très bien agencé, bien équipé (nous aurions aimé un grille pain pour le petit déjeuner du matin ....sourire) très bien entretenu par une dame Mauricienne aussi sympathique qu'efficace. La résidence est surveillée par des gardiens serviables, efficaces et d'une grande gentillesse. La piscine est magnifique et très propre bien qu'elle soit entourée de palmiers. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et espérons y retourner 2 mois l'an prochain .

Wonderful days at Les Orchidees in Flic en Flac Mauritus!
Our family rented an apparent in Les Orchidees for 10 days. We had a wonderful stay over Christmas and we spent many hours at the long white beach 150 meters from the house. But since we are pale Swedes we were also very grateful for the beautiful pool in Les Orchidees. There we could have a quick bath when we needed. The apartment was very clean, well furnished and fully equipped and had two nice bedrooms with separate bathrooms . We cooked in the nice kitchen and hade most of our dinners out at the terrace outside the living room. Some evenings we went down to the street along the beach and had dinners at an Chinese restaurang. The apparent and the garden was Christmas decorated so we did´t miss our Christmas tree and the snowy winter at home. Now we are back again in Sweden with - 10 degres, but we look back to our wonderful vacation with lots of joy. Thank you Manda for giving us all the information in advance so we felt secure and also a big thank you to your brother Bala that greeted us when we came and helped us with all our question. We hope we can come back next year! We can really recommend your apartment to friends and relatives!

Location super, je pense qu'il serait difficile de trouver mieux en qualité/prix
Accueil chaleureux, appartement idéal pour 2 couples, environnement très calme. Nous sommes venus à maurice pour la 4eme fois et c'est la meilleure location que l'on est pu faire. Sans hésiter ,nous reviendrons chez vous . Merci aux propriétaires , sans oublier de vous souhaiter de bonnes fêtes de fin d'année . Brigitte et Pierre- Marie , les bretons

Geräumige Unterkunft nach zum Beach
Wir verbrachten 1 Woche in Flic en Flac und haben die grosszüge Unterkunft sehr geschätzt. Toll war auch der Gartensitzplatz. Alles war sauber und 1x wurde sogar die Bettwäsche gewechselt. Die Küche ist auch gut ausgestattet. Als Kontakt stand uns der Bruder von Manda jederzeit zur Verfügung. Zum Beach waren es knappe 10 Minuten zu Fuss. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Preis Leistung ist absolut ok. Danke für die schöne Zeit die wir hier verbringen konnten.

Everything was clean and even the sheets changed. The kitchen is also well equipped. As a contact, the brother of Manda was always at our disposal. To the beach it was about 10 minutes on foot. We would come back at any time. Price performance is absolutely ok. Thanks for the nice time we could spend here.Response

Excellent appartement !
Nous recommandons vivement cette location qui est parfaite à tous points de vue : - appartement spacieux et très fonctionnel. Meublé avec soin. Bonne literie. Propreté irréprochable. - tous les équipements nécessaires dont équipements bébé, machine à laver, climatisation... - résidence charmante avec une très belle piscine (mais pas devant l'appartement donc on en bénéficie sans en avoir les désagréments) et parking gardé - plage magnifique à proximité - supérette pour faire ses courses à proximité - conseils sur les aspects pratiques Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour. Merci à Manda et à Bala son frère pour leur accueil.
