8/10 Buono

Nice place for two couples. Just enough space
As noted on VRBO, location is a bit out of the way. We knew this but for us was okay with access to bus and taxis. Run by nice friendly couple who were available if needed.

Perfekte Bleibe
Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir wieder her.

The apartment was fine, but a very long walk to any Main Street. It required a bus ride to Florence.
Again, the property is fine. The barking dog, the walk to the street and not being IN Florence was a problem for us.

Our apartment 's description starts like this: -Casa Andrea is located in Montughi, one of the most suggestive HILLS of Florence, a few steps from the historic Villa la Pietra (home of the NY University) and the prestigious Stibbert museum. The apartment is housed in an old farm and it is surrounded by an olive grove with a view of the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Brunelleschi's dome. Casa Andrea is surrounded by greenery in an area with little traffic but at the same time close to the city center (a 20-minute walk away), it's the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, enjoying all the advantages and beauties of Florence, but also taking joy from the countryside. Before to rent an apartment, it is NECESSARY to read the description. We're sorry you didn't fully enjoy your stay here, none of our guests complained about anything. You've been in the need of many help, that we fully gave you, spending a lot of time: 1)you've been unable to park, and blocked two parking, 2) you changed without permission the house thermostat to 27 degrees (not permitted in italy), 3)you've needed a 40 minutes explanation to get how a kettle and an electric plate works 4) you came back several hours after the check out 'cause you forgot something and we've been glad to welcome you again. For all those reasons, we warmly recommend you to search for an hotel in the city centre next time you travel, and not for an apartment located in "one of the most suggestive hills IN Florence"
