L'appartamento è in una splendida posizione, ci si può spostare a piede facilmente in tutti i luoghi di interesse. L'appartamento è pulito e dotato di tutti ciò che serve. La persona che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e disponibile. CONSIGLIATO!

Comodissima ma un po' fredda
Ubicazione comodissima per vedere la maggio parte dei musei e delle chiese della città'. La casa e' perfetta, pulita e ben attrezzata. Unico problema: riscaldamento acceso pochissime ore al giorno e quindi non sufficiente a scaldarsi bene al ritorno a casa (giornate con molto vento freddo). Casa ideale soprattutto durante la bella stagione.

Dear Guido, There is a heating thermostat on the wall in the sitting room. Clients are free to set the desired temperature/times as there are no limitations whatsoever. In addition to the radiators there is a fan coil unit in each room and again no limitations to use, therefore you could easily increase the inside temperature even up to 30° in winter! Had you mentioned the difficulty during your stay, you would have avoided a cold experience and writing an unfair review. Buongiorno Guido, Nella parete del soggiorno, c'è il termostato, regolabile a piacere. Non ci sono limiti di orario o di temperatura. Oltre ai radiatori ci sono pure i fan coil in tutte le stanze i cui telecomandi sono ben visibili sulla scrivania. Essendoci ben due impianti di riscaldamento indipendenti liberamente impostabili dall'utente si possono raggiungere volendo persino 30 gradi in pieno inverno. Dipiace ancora di più che non ha fatto mensione del disagio durante il suo soggiorno. Avrebbe evitato di soffrire freddo e noi una recensione ingiusta.

Charming apartment in the centre, very comfy and good value for money.
On arrival I was very impressed with the location and after receiving a very warm welcome my enthusiasm was soring and I was ready to hit the town (a delightful exerience). The apartment was well equipped and comfortable, it felt like home from home. I couldn't have hoped for better. I would certainly recommend it and hopefully I shall return in the very near future.

Lovely apartment in fabulous location
The host was incredibly welcoming and gracious, recommended excellent local restaurants and took the time to show us how everything worked in the apartment. The kitchen is very small, but perfectly adequate for having breakfast at home and making simple meals -- we ate out for most lunches and dinners, as there were numerous excellent restaurants nearby. Location can't be beat: near everything, but with a neighborhood-y feeling rather than being overrun with tourists. Highly recommend.

Terrific place
Great place, host and location. Only minor know is when there is someone on floor above you can hear every step, but that pretty typical of these places. I highly recommend as you won't regret.

Great accommodation
We really enjoyed our stay at Julian's apartment. It's location was perfect for discovering the city by foot and it was also very easy to reach from the airport. The kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. All in all, we were very happy with the accommodation and would highly recommend it.

Location perfect, flat cozy and well appointed
A comfortable, well appointed, incredibly well located flat a few steps from Santa Croce. The couple who greeted me, Senore Silvano and Senora Piera could not have been more kind and helpful. I did not meet the owner, but in communications beforehand, she answered every query quickly and clearly. What I most appreciated is that everything in the flat worked-keys, windows, plumbing, kitchen ( tiny but functional, with an excellent bread knife!), heating, good beds ( a new sofa bed my friend actually wanted to have shipped home!), everything. I would return in a heartbeat.

Highly Recommend!
Leading up to our arrival, we ran into some pretty significant travel issues, and the property manager was very responsive and as accommodating as possible, which met our needs. Upon arrival, we were thrilled with the location and quality of the property. Super nice neighbors met us and told us all about the apartment and the neighborhood. We were there for 11 days/10 nights that were just beyond expectations. We explored and explored, and this location was seriously perfect. The apartment was clean and quiet and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so well. I can only dream of returning to this very place. If you’re headed to Florence, this is your place.

Lovely apt steps from Michelangelo and Galileo’s tombs in Santa Croce Church. Easily walked to everything we wanted to see. The check in was easy and having people across the hall we could reach out to if needed was a nice addition.

Great spot, quiet area
Just seconds from Santa Croce, an easy 10 minutes to the Duomo or Piazza della Signoria. Quiet even on New Year’s Eve (but close to the fun). Grocery stores nearby. And just steps to a few blocks from good eats. Stay here. You will feel like a Florentine.

Just like being at home
Our stay here was so enjoyable and had the Italian ambiance you would love. High ceilings, large windows, good heating, beautiful wood floors, furniture in the bedroom and large spacious areas. Has everything you need and more. The bed is very comfortable, extra blankets, always had hot water and good wifi. Kitchen had a few supplies. Provided tea, coffee, sugar, napkins, kleenex and paper towels.The location couldn't be better. Walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, cafes, shopping and all the main attractions. Taxi service at the end of the block. Was very convenient. Host's Piera and Silvano were very helpful in showing us how everything worked. We highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay in Firenze
The apartment was very comfortable and clean and in a great location for visiting (by foot) all the sites. And, there are many good restaurants in the area. Check in was easy, the hosts relatives live in the building and were very warm and welcoming when we arrived.

Great spot in Florence
This apartment is in such a great location and made our visit to Florence a little easier. The host was great as well and welcomed us in person to explain the neighborhood. If I had to find any negatives out of the experience, it would be that the mattress was hard (seems like an Italian thing though) and the pillows were just as hard. Overall, very minor complaints!

Great apartment in a Wonderful area!
We loved the Sante Croce area and that we could walk to everything! The apartment was just as promoted and cute and comfortable. We would stay there again. It was an easy 30 minute walk from the train station and the old town was within 20 minutes in every direction. We loved the restaurants close by and the grocery store was a 5 minute walk. Overall we had a great time.

Great stay
My mother and I had a great stay at the apartment. It was near everything in Florence, but the street itself was quiet and calm. There’s a bunch of great places to eat around, but you can also cook yourself a nice meal in the kitchenette (grocery stores nearby). Wouldn’t have chosen a better place to stay :)

Great location, exactly as described
Beautiful apartment in a great location! We spent three days in Florence and it was great to have an apartment so centrally located. We came back to take a rest, cool down in the air conditioned rooms before heading back out. We felt safe walking in that neighborhood and appreciated the very friendly welcome by the proprietor‘s family living next door. Great place and I will come back in a heartbeat!

Lovely rental
Super location! It was so very easy to access any part of Florence from this apartment. We had a couple of rainy days and it was very convenient to stop by to pick up umbrella/drop off umbrella (which by the way were provided by the rental). Relatives, that are neighbors, were very helpful with check in and any other needs. We were able to check in when we arrived at 1pm since apartment was ready. Place was clean and comfortable. Kitchen is small but totally adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Florence at its best
We absolutely loved this property and I implore people thinking of booking to do so. The apartment was perfectly situated off the Santa Croce square. The building has stood since at least the 1500's. It's architecture was wonderful. Large and spacious, we had everything we needed, fully fitted kitchen and even a washing machine! (Not that we used it). It was spotless - there is a charge of 50 Euros for cleaning and of course the city taxes which added 83 euros to our bill. But boy was it worth it. Just to say to the owner, your photographs on the VRBO website really, really, really do not do your wonderful apartment justice. Our thanks to the local reception providers who did everything they could to help us settle in and gave us useful tips and restaurants and supermarkets both of which we used. I cannot recommend this apartment more highly. What a treat!

Great location and very clean
This place was in such a great location. It was a 5-10 min walk to the Duomo and only 20 min walk from the train station. It was great to have all kinds of restaurants and even a grocery store close by. The apartment was spacious and it was great to have a washing machine right in the place. They even provided laundry detergent! Loved staying here.

This apartment was incredibly clean and had more than enough room for two adults to sleep comfortably on queen sized beds. Great location that made it easy to walk to all interest points and restaurants in Florence. Hosts were welcoming and helpful and let us drop off our luggage before our designated check in time.

Great location. Very quiet. Only local italian tv available. (this should be disclosed on vbro-ALWAYS!!!). Vbro does a discervice advertising as having tv!! Otherwise all ok.

Great place and a great location!
We enjoyed this apartment. It had a comfortable bed and space to move around. The location was excellent with easy access to the entire city. The market is close and plenty of things to see near and far. One negative is the evening street noise, mainly vespas and voices. Mostly quite after midnight.

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay here. It was located in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere. The flat exterior was constructed in the 1300s making it a cool place to stay with a small kitchen and bath that included a washing machine. The owner/managers were great to work with and gave us grocery shopping and other tips, helping us orient ourselves with Florence. Would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment in Florence
I stayed six nights and really enjoyed my stay here. The communication with owner and his relatives who do the check in was excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well presented. The shower and hot water was good plus having a washing machine and dishwasher was very handy. It is centrally located near Piazza Santa Croce and has restaurants, bars and a supermarket all within walking distance. It's a very safe area. The river Arno is also just a short walk away. I will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable apartment in the heart of Florence
The apartment in Santa Croce is in a great location for walking to see the main sites of Florence. The check in process was seamless as we were met by the host’s relative and were shown around the apartment, as well as orientated to our surrounds with a city map. The apartment itself was a good size for two people, although the kitchen could only fit one person at a time. The hot water is controlled by a gas heater and there was a strong smell of gas whenever hot water was used in the kitchen sink, or when in the shower. The kitchen does not have an oven, but is otherwise well equipped. Large bedroom and living/dining room. Despite our stay coinciding with Christmas, the apartment was well insulated from outside noise. Would recommend for anyone staying in Florence!
