Questo affascinante e unico appartamento si trova al piano terra di un edificio storico nel centro storico di Firenze. E 'strategicamente situato a soli 5 minuti a piedi da Piazza Santa Croce e 15 minuti a piedi da Piazza della Signoria e Ufizzi.

Questo alloggio è stato restaurato (l'ultima ristrutturazione di novembre 2016) e trasformato in un adorabile appartamento, molto ben arredato e con servizi moderni. Il clou è il suo giardino privato e soleggiato con tavolo da pranzo per pasti 'al fresco'. È disponibile anche un parcheggio privato.

C'è un accogliente soggiorno, sala da pranzo in una veranda di fronte al giardino, cucina ben attrezzata con tutto il necessario per cucinare un delizioso pasto toscano, una camera matrimoniale padronale con soffitto affrescato con bagno privato, una camera matrimoniale con 2 letti singoli, un monolocale con 1 letto singolo più un bagno con doccia. Tutti i bagni sono realizzati con marmo di Carrara.

Il mercato di Santo Ambrogio, il più caratteristico mercato alimentare di Firenze, è a soli 5 minuti a piedi. È un buon modo per svegliarsi al mattino, fare una colazione pigra con un vero cappuccino o un espresso e fare un giro intorno a verdure fresche e squisite e frutta o formaggio locale appena annusando i nuovi aromi del fiore.

Tutt'intorno ci sono molti ristoranti e bar dove i Fiorentini locali servono un veloce caffè, pranzo e cena, con una vasta selezione di locali che vanno da wine bar, pizzerie con forno a legna, trattorie locali e ristoranti famosi.

Da lì, puoi anche noleggiare biciclette per visitare Firenze ovunque tu voglia andare!

Il famoso MERCATO DELLE PULCI di Firenze si trova in Piazza Ghiberti a soli 5 minuti a piedi dall'appartamento. Si apre tutti i giorni dalle 9 alle 19. 30. Se sei abbastanza fortunato da andarci l'ultima domenica di ogni mese, le bancarelle si estendono nelle strade circostanti. Qui puoi trovare mobili e oggetti del passato, stampe, monete e gioielli. Vale la pena un viaggio, se non altro, per ottenere approfondimenti sul passato dell'Italia attraverso i manufatti esposti in queste bancarelle ingombre.

Great private apartment & location!

Great private apartment and location.The bedrooms were great and the air conditioning worked great. We did have a few mosquitoes and some spider webs in the sunroom, but they did install bug plug-ins, which seemed to help. The backyard could use some grooming, as the trees and bushes were hanging over the table and chairs. We did use the washing machine, since we had already been in Italy for 5 days. This was a nice feature for halfway point of our trip. Check-in was wonderful and I would recommend it to others in the future.

Fabulous in Firenze!

What an amazing property. Christina was so accommodating. Located close to a market, bakery and cafe, this was the perfect location. The air conditioning, showers and TV worked. The patio was lovely in the evenings and it was very comfortable.

Great stay in Santa Croce neighborhood

We loved our location, within walking distance of the top tourist attractions in Firenze, plenty of space for four friends traveling together. Christina was very helpful in orienting us to the space and giving us recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property

Christina met us upon arrival and explained everything completely. The property was as described and wonderful for a family of 5 guests. Location was great and easy to find and we walked everywhere, except to the Airport. She left a booklet with lots of helpful info on things to do and where to eat, etc.I have stayed in Florence a dozen times always in Hotels and this was a real treat. Wonderful visit to Florence!

We had a great stay! Christina is a terrific hostess who met us at the property and was responsive throughout our visit, including a recommendation for a wine tour in Tuscany. An easy walk to nearby groceries and an open air market plus a well equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. and the apartment is a 10-15 minute walk to many Florence attractions. Highly recommended!

Le logement quoique un peu vieillot était adapté pour nous. Cependant quelques soucis avec Internet qui ne passe que près de la box, sinon pas du tout dans les chambres !Pas de papier toilette et au niveau électricité c'est un peu folklo! (la lampe sur la table est très très basse et empêche de voir les personnes en face !)Par contre super bien situé, tout peut se faire à pied et une place de parking un peu étroite (quand on a un minibus comme nous) mais vraiment pratique. En ajustant un peu, c'est top !Je recommande

Lovely apartment with great amenities

We arrived to the apartment and were met by the host, Christina, she took loads of time explaining how to work the lights, the ac units, the washer and everything else about the property. She had a book with a map for us to use and some suggestions of markets and restaurants nearby. When we contacted her during the stay with a question, she responded very quickly. The bonus of having a clothes washer after a couple weeks of travel is not to be understated. She has a full size fridge and dishwasher and enough plates, glasses and cookware to satisfy our needs. There are three bedrooms and two baths so we two each had our own space. The garden patio was a lovely spot to have a coffee in the am or a glass of wine and snacks in the afternoon. I was in the front bedroom and the street noise was a bit loud, but that is largely unavoidable in Florence. Overall, a lovely, accessible apartment in a fabulous city.

Very nice house for a family with teens.

First of all, Christina was the best host! She was helpful and responded to my questions instantly. The house was perfect for our family with two teenage boys who preferred having a room each. They eat constantly and having a full kitchen was a big plus. A/C worked so well and we were so glad during the heat wave. We wanted to go to Tuscan country side for truffle hunting and having a private parking in the backyard was exactly what we were looking for. Santa Croce market is nearby and you’ll love it if you are a foodie. There are many good restaurants nearby as well. You’ll have to walk 15 min. to the center of the city and taxies weren’t easily available. So bring good walking shoes.

Excellent host

The property is as described. Great location, large, well equipped, and very clean. Excellent restaurants in close proximity. The communications with the host are excellent. There is parking for your car if you have one. Units equipped with A/C and washer on site so perfect for a family.

Beautiful Apartment!

We had three generations staying in Christina’s beautiful apartment. Unlike so many places, the reality exceeded the pictures. What a great place! Christina was a warm and welcoming host who met us and took the time to explain all of the features of the apartment. The location is an easy walk to the duomo, Ponte Vecchio and everything else we wanted to see. We’ll be back!

Great spot - great neighborhood

Florence was a hit and the Santa Croce Neighborhood is welcoming and generous! Some of our favorites were Ghibellina forno pasticceria, Caffetteria del Vecchio Mercato at the Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio, the bar Le Murate Caffè Letterario across the way has cocktails live music and events. We love this place and Christina was a wonderful host!

Wonderful ground floor apartment near Santa Croce

Christina was a wonderful host who was very responsive before our arrival and met us at the property to check us in and explain how everything worked. She even made sure we were connected to the WiFi before she left. Property was located very close to Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio, which is indoor/outdoor market selling all the fresh produce, fish, meats and cheeses you could want. Also very easy walk to Piazza Santa Croce, where there are all sorts of vendors, restaurants and shops for local products like gold jewelry and leather. There was a great little pasticceria/bakery (open since 1890) just a few blocks away where we often got our morning coffee and pastries, and they also had good sandwiches. The old charm of this place is hard to describe and the pictures don’t do it justice. Although we didn’t use it, there was an interior parking space included which would have been essential if we had rented a car as the parking on the street was very limited. Would definitely stay here again.
