Room was absolutely beyond and above aspectations .
Every extremely clean but only sugestions was that windows was not very Clean.
I understand that pigeons have already their places and is hard to maintained but it just too fantastic view and windows could be a little bit more clean ”

I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews.
The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle.
We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture.
The staff were lovely.

“Its not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%”

The rooms were fabulous, the pool gorgeous in fact everything was great.
The only thing that spoiled my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast menu was extensive, but only for cooked breakfast. I don't eat cooked breakfast. I asked for cereal and toast. I was given a small box of corn flakes (no choice) 2 slices of toast and a mini jar of marmalade for us both. My partner had a cooked breakfast and therefore no cereal.
