“The property was a basic chalet.
We stayed there for 5 nights I believe and it was a very busy weekend in Melbourne with the Formula 1 Grand Prix and labour day on Monday which meant the Moomba festival was also on that weekend.
The chalet is situated in a campsite.
Transport to go to the city was easy enough with a bus just outside the campsite entrance.
The chalet was very small but I knew that when I booked it. For a short stay it was OK. Any longer and I recommend people book a bigger...

“The room was quiet, clean, included modern furnishings but was quite small. Its being renovated, there was no construction noise, but the common access points to to the hotel rooms look a bit rough! I'm sure once the reno's are done it will be a big improvement to those spaces. Plenty of car parking and easy to find.”

“Had a fantastic stay at Punthill Sunshine. The room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The kitchen was well-furnished, which was a nice bonus. “Insgesamt gut, gerade was das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis betrifft. Für das Geld völlig in Ordnung. Sauber, nicht zu groß, die Bäder sind gut ausgestattet und auch sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber auch hier für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Die Lage ist ok, Parkplätze sind durch den Pendlerparkplatz direkt nebenan mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Zu Geräuschempfindlich sollte man allerdings nicht sein, es ist doch relativ viel zu hören.
Was wirklich nervig war ist die Matratze....

“The room was prepaid at a rate of $150. However, when I arrived, the clerk charged my card an additional $170, saying the room had not been paid for and that they needed to check my card details.

“Excellent docklands location, Pool was wonderful, customer service was good except the staff member on the buffet breakfast, he was outstanding, really friendly and explained everything available to us, was very warm and welcoming. Everything was pretty clean and the pool was wonderful.
Only feedback would be to ensure the pool lounges have been cleaned of mess in the afternoon and the check in staff should let people checking in of the promotions available for guests to take care of eg 50%...

“Location was good for access to the tram, room kitchen contents was mixed as was cleanliness as I was not happy with the initial room we were given. “Very disappointing. Parking very scarce near reception and while searching, many one way alleys had us spending too much time just getting to check in. Then the guy on the counter also seemed to be reservations so we had to wait while he completed a demanding transaction on the phone.
