Highly recommend Commoner restaurant attached didn’t live up to hype; food was lovely but very little choice, expensive but venue was empty and lacked atmosphere. This didn’t affect score and would visit again; infact we’ve booked another Kimpton at Monaco for another night on our road trip”

“If ever there was a hotel to be described as antique, this would be it. Old and creaky, but charming. This was a great boutique hotel experience worth trying out. And the Cigar Bar was a nice addition.”

“I had no service on TV. Staff kept telling me that maintenance was coming. They never came. I was there for a whole week. They didn’t even give me a discount the front desk people were being rude when I will call down phone didn’t work in the room.”

“It was a little loud in the early morning. It sounded like a workout class was going in downstairs with booming bass. Other than that the place was wonderful.”

“The parking, $35 per day, and had to park outside due to restricted vehicle height, should have been free or reduced price. Draft beer at bar was $12, Diet Coke bottle was $4. I usually never complain about prices but I felt they over charge. The bar/restaurant was under-staffed and service was SLOW!Our AC unit had a bad rattle when it cycled on. Staff was friendly or this would have been a 2* rating.”
