“I loved my stay here! I was travelling for business. Wish I could stay more often, highly recommend. Super comfy bed, great shower, lovely staff and delicious breakfast with lots of options. ”

“3 nights family stay, the gym is small but well equipped, the location is gorgeous and the housekeeping was outstanding. Breakfast is very good but could improve in terms of variety. The restaurant has a limited menu and is the same of the bar. The service was very slow in general. Wifi was fast and very stable. Excellent value in general for the money .”

“We had the most amazing weekend ! Room was very clean and comfortable - great facilities and very convenient for the wedding we were attending at kelham hall. So glad we chose this option to stay at ! Thank you James for a wonderful nights sleep after a very long day ! Great pub next door too !! ”
“Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
“A very enjoyable one night stay. We had booked a junior suite but asked to swap rooms to a different type, with a golf view. The receptionist was happy to oblige and all was sorted swiftly. We were so pleased with our decision as the view down the eighteenth hole and across the surrounding countryside was fabulous. The delicious and plentiful breakfast was freshly prepared and made to order.”
“We were looking for a place to put down our heads for a night, after an wedding. Our check in should only have been in the afternoon, but we needed a place to change into our gladrags for the morning part of the occasion and Carol, very kindly got our room ready early in the morning.
Such personal care and seevice has to be highly commended, would definitely recoomend this place and if ever in the area will be looking to stay here.”

"Nel complesso esperienza molto buona. Personale della reception accogliente e ha spiegato tutti i servizi principali in modo esaustivo. Camera piccola ma accogliente, con tutto l’essenziale e per una notte più che soddisfatta. Letto molto comodo. A pochi passi da castello, da diversi pub dove andare a cenare o a bere qualcosa. A pochi minuti dal centro, se uno vuole fare un po’ di shopping, e a una decina di minuti a piedi dalla stazione..ottima posizione!"
