“I never leave negative reviews and overall we loved the hotel. Beware, however, the hotel charged me a balance remaining between them and Expedia stating I needed to seek a refund from Expedia for them underpaying my stay. I paid the same price on Expedia as the advertised hotel rate. I was also charged for parking on property and did not. I’ve left messages since my stay for the GM and have not heard back him.”

“I would not recommend this hotel at all. I checked in around 3:40 p.m. as a solo female traveler and was initially assigned a room that had not been cleaned. When I went back to the front desk, the employee told me to "give me 5–10 minutes to change the sheets." That response made me uncomfortable because simply changing the sheets does not mean the room has been properly cleaned and sanitized, so I requested a different room. “I wouldn't recommend this place at all went to our room and as soon as you walked in a non-smoking room it smelt like cigarettes. We checked the mattresses and found horrific stains and black mold all over the mattresses the cleanliness of this place was very disgusting i will never be booking this place every again.”

“This place has definitely seen better days. I tried to save a few bucks but the cost was still the same as if I stayed across the parking lot at Holiday Inn. The bedding was very worn out and had visible stains and strands of hair. I went to the Family Dollar to purchase bedding. So, yeah, the money I spent doing that was the same as if I’d stayed somewhere else. Would’ve had a better peace of mind”

“The 1st room smelled of smoke for a non smoking room. We were moved to another room. This room smelled great, BUT had cockroaches.”

“There were roaches all over the room and the bathroom. They were climbing out of the air conditioner! The room was described as having a bath tub but it was a tiny stand up shower. The pool was not open at the end of June in Virginia. I packed my swim suit but couldn't swim. There were burn holes all over the comforter. I definitely wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very welcome when we arrived after a long drive. The lobby was also so bright, clean, cheerful and welcoming. We were very happy with our room, it was spacious and very clean. I would definitely stay here again”

“The fruit selection on the breakfast bar was top notch. They had grapes watermelon mango strawberries blueberries pineapple and bananas. The scrambled "eggs" were not appetizing at all. The attendant was very responsible and kept things full.”
