“As always, the hotel is the place to stay. I wish they offered an on-site breakfast area like most hotels of this caliber do. There is a shuttle to the boat for Tin Lizard for a good meal and a steak place. The deli is a quick snack place. There is a refrigerator in rooms which is always good.”

“The room was totally out of towels. Busy place. The staff was kind despite stretched! The pool was over crowded and no towels. No smoking policy yet the halls were strong with the smell of marijuanna! So strong it came into our room at night. Stoney Creek has changed from a few years back. We’ve always liked it by River. ”

“The whole facility was beautiful and clean. Our room was immaculate, the two queen beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was always fresh and bright. I was very impressed with the staff and I told the general manager so. We would definitely consider staying there again if we will return to Peoria.”

“I picked this place because of decent reviews... Not sure if I got unlucky with my room, but it was bad. I walked in and saw that it wasn't the room I booked (no king bed), and that it was unkept and generally not very clean. I booked another room at a different hotel and never looked back. Didn't stay here, and wasn't offered a refund (in fairness it was a non-refundable booking, but under the circumstances I think a refund would have been fair). ”

“Hotel was very clean. Desk clerk came down to our room and showed us how to get the TV working right. He was very helpful. Gave us suggestions and directions and for dinner. Will definitely stay here again!”

“The breakfast was good. We enjoyed bacon, eggs and waffles. They also had oatmeal, yogurt, cereal and muffins. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is close to stores and restaurants. We’ve stayed here before while visiting my son at college and we will stay here again”

“We were desperate and traveling with small children so we had to stay one night at this hotel. It took going through four different rooms before one was somewhat acceptable. There were stains on the matress and bedding, bugs in the room, no shower curtain in one room we went through, food and garbage on the floor. The tile in the bathroom was dirty. This hotel deserves to be turned into the local health department. ”

“Pool was broken when we arrived and the duration of our stay, which was half of the reason that we chose this one over others. Room itself was fine, hotel was out of rollaway beds that we’d requested. Overall the stay was fine but the value was not there, should have stayed at Embassy. ”
