“Well kept, excellent people to do business with.”

“Toilet ran all night, lights in main room did not work, staff did not make people follow the 10:00 quiet time, milk was spoiled in fridge, a/c blew hot air. Reached out to staff and corporate during our stay and was given some lies about reimbursement and being contacted “within 24 hours.” Worst experience at a Holiday Inn”

“Do not stay here! The manager/staff/owner of the franchise are terrible to their guests and also bigots who make assumptions about people based on race. Within seconds of an interaction with my (black) husband, the manager threatened to call the police after sternly and aggressively asking “what’s your room #?” Instead of a “good morning, how are you” or “how did you sleep” as you’re getting coffee and wiping sleep out of your eyes, “WHATS YOUR ROOM #, I’m calling the police”… like...

“Good hotel”

“The main part of room was somewhat clean but something splattered on wall. The bathroom was gross with a dirty floor and no shower curtain. The response I got the next day about the shower curtain was not an apology, just - well we can put one up now if you want. There were little ants all over the room and crawling on the bed. I would never stay here again.”

“The room was in great condition and the staff were super courteous. My two main problems were that the electronic lock was dead upon arrival and someone had to come fix it the next day. Once it was fixed, they didnt put it to the origional code, so I got locked out of the apartment when I went downstairs. The second problem that was nexer fixed was the hot water. For such a cold week in Illinois, I had hoped that the water would be hot enough to chase away the cold, but alas, it was not. I...

“Clean, large space, good quality, easy to find.”

“They could actually try and clean. Mold in fridge, mold in bathroom due to no vent fans. Beds were comfortable but pillows were garbage.”

“If you like rustic charm then you will love this hotel. Some rooms have a jacuzzi while others have fireplaces The hotel has an awesome location set on the riverfront with Jonah’s seafood right next door.”

“I was double charged after paying through Expedia. Holiday Inn staff said they couldn’t see my payment through Expedia and they had to run my card. Turns out I paid for the room twice and no idea if I’ll get a refund or not. Time will tell”

“The beds were horrible. Terrible bedding and horrendous mattress.”

“We had to switch rooms because the air conditioner stopped working. The next room did not have a microwave. The clerk brought one and had to sit it on our table. There was a huge amount of white powdery substance on the bathtub and door handle. The bed was hard as a rock.”
