“Clean and comfortable”

“This apartment is cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. It is close to everything. The hosts really make it feel like home. We hope to stay again in the future when visiting family nearby!”

“Room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including treats for our dog! The included breakfast offered a variety of options and helped kickstart our day.”

“Trash and children’s toys in the parking lot. Front desk staff barely spoke English which made checking in difficult to say the least. The room had a smashed in door. The beds comforters had huge holes in them. No vending. Overall, not impressed. Would not recommend.”

“The reviews and photos online were very misleading. We were warned not to eat the breakfast, which was set up in a closed restaurant. The bedding was stained, the towels were burned with holes in them. Our smoke detector was hanging by a wire. ”

“Sticky surfaces had to be wiped clean. Room phone had some sort of sauce dripped on it. Outlets in bathroom didn't work. Only outlet in room was behind bed, so had to scoot it to charge phone. TV had to be plugged in, as it shared an outlet with the microwave and fridge. Poor lighting. Didn't touch the a/c, but room temp was comfortable. Requested king size bed and got room with 2 queens. Only staff member seen was friendly and helpful. Never checked to see if bfast was served.”

“The property is very nice and great for a short stay. I’d give 5-stars but our ac didn’t work and there isn’t anyone that works the desk so we couldn’t report it. Right on the square and close to a lot. We will stay again.”

“Nice ambiance (rustic/deer camp) and a decent breakfast. Didn't serve meats (sausage/bacon) every day. WiFi was very spotty, which was quite inconvenient. No towel bar in the bathroom, which meant we had to get fresh towels from the desk everyday (who likes using cold, wet towels a second day?) The Illinois river is quite close which is very nice if you like a good view and the smell of dead carp. The bar was pleasant, but closed at 8:00 during the week. Housekeeping is available every...

“Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was full of hair and dirt, not good.”

“Comfortable and location was great”

“Not the fault of the facility, lightning had destroyed the elevator control council and the Ice machine on our floor. I am 76 with bad arthritis and don't do stairs well, but there were no rooms available on the first floor. When we got to our room, the toilet would not stop running. The handle sticks down, and I had to bend the float rod to get it to stop running. Had to lift the handle after that. The air conditioner was very loud when the compressor kicked in.
