Lake & Mountain views with deck and games room for all to enjoy (linen provided)

Our freshly painted and beautifully styled home is yours to enjoy with your family and friends. Wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy a Nespresso coffee on the deck with the beautiful lake and mountain views. The house has been set up with guests needs in mind with comfortable beds and a smart TV in every bedroom to allow you to retreat and relax in private. (Refer to photos for bedding configuration) We include things to make your stay easy and to allow you to self-cater knowing there will be a fully functional kitchen with quality appliances, wine glasses and sharp knives. On the covered deck there is a large BBQ and outdoor furniture. To take advantage of the view, the house is elevated which allows for parking a vehicle underneath. The main living area is on level one and two bedrooms & one of the bathrooms are located on level two. Outside there is a separate large shed set up as a games room with a pool table, air hockey, TV, Stereo, fridge, darts and couches for people to enjoy. The house is only 200m walk to the waters edge and minutes drive to numerous boat ramps for fishing and water skiing. There is a local store in Goughs Bay for essential supplies, fuel and liquor. Mansfield & Delatite Winery are only 15 minutes drive. Enjoy what the region has to offer with many festivals and outdoor activities, including mountain bike riding, bush walking, 4WDing, snow and water skiing.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location. The kids loved the games room but the highlight was using the sit down paddle boards provided by the hosts.

Great place with all the things you wanted for a getaway

Getaway

We had a lovely time. Beautiful view from the balcony. Our dog loved the yard and the walks. Boys loved the games room and the wood fire. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic hidden gem

We stayed here with two families and it suited us perfectly. We had an absolutely fabulous time especially with the games room. The house was really well stocked with everything that we needed and Hannah was so accommodating and helpful. We would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Lovely family get together

Appreciated kitchen equipment....not just bits and pieces but good quality.The games room was a big hit as was the kayaks.Location was great.I would say the stairs to access the house could be difficult for elderly/disabled.

An absolutely gorgeous place. So nicely kept and Hanna the owner was receptive to every single minor request we made. We were a group of 10 and the house was perfect for a group that size. The games room was an absolute winner with the kids. The area surrounding the property is amazing and so beautiful.

Cooinda Lakeside Cottage

Cooinda fitted the bill perfectly for an active family, with lake and games to keep kids busy, and a comfortable lounge for the adults. Great views, and lost wildlife including kangaroos and lorikeets. Thanks again Hanna

Beautiful views

The house was very clean and had everything you need. Every detail jas been thought of, warm throw rugs, Comfy beds, full kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. The view from the deck and lounge is great and so close to the water and boat ramp. My boys loved the games room in the shed (perfect touch). It was great to have a family holiday and be able to bring our dogs as well.

Never disappoints

This was our second time at this property and it was just as fantastic as the first. Clean, warm and very comfortable. There had been some improvements to the entertainment room, which the kids loved and us grown ups were just happy relaxing by the fire. Feeding the native birds is always a treat. Highly recommended.

Beautiful holiday house 🌸

This holiday home can’t be faulted, was very clean & had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable & had beautiful quality adairs bed linen. Everything in the house was exceptional quality, even the kitchen appliances & cutlery. Great communication from Hanna the owner. Will definitely be back 😀

Easter ski trip with friends and family.

We had a lovely stay at Hanna’s (“Cooinda”)place. The home is set up beautifully for a getaway. The games room, the furniture and the lovely linen are just the obvious things. The bird seed (and wild friendly birds) and lots of open space with great views and excellent location all add to make it a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday. The kids had a great time with lots of outdoor space to play. We were all very comfortable during both hot and cool weather and we all had a really enjoyable stay.

Magic location

Check in process was seamless. Great communication from host. We had 8 people at the property including 4 teens. The house was a perfect size for us and was well stocked with all utensils (sharp knives) pans, bbq etc. The host has considered everything! We made use of the kayaks and games room and enjoyed feeding the parrots. Highly recommend this property.

Cooinda is perfect for our adult family. We have stayed twice and will be back again. Cosy with room for 10 adults to move around. Great appliances and well fitted out. Just brought food/drinks and everything else is there. The playroom is a terrific idea and gets a good workout after dinner. Being separate from the house means going to bed while others party on is no problem.We have a well-behaved dog so the open front is not a problem for us. If your pooch is a runner they would need to be on a lead or watched.

Slice of paradise

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. Gough’s Bay itself is a beautiful spot and the house has lovely lake views. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Hard to say what the best part was as there was so much to enjoy. Kayaking on the lake was stunning and the games room was a big hit too. The balcony has great views to the lake. My only criticism is there’s only stools on the balcony - would have loved a comfy chair out there to curl up in. The fire was super easy to light and made the house cosy in minutes. Hanna was very responsive to all our questions and a great host. I would 100% recommend staying here and hope to return soon.

Amazing property with the most helpful and wonderful hosts. It is literally a home away from home - the house is beautiful, but also so well provisioned. Hanna and Anthony have thought of everything, and clearly go out of their way to make every guest welcome. The birds are a constant delight, and the views wonderful. There is so much to enjoy just on the property, but it is also perfectly located in a quiet spot but within easy distance of all the local attractions. We will definitely be back.
