Resort a Great Diamond Island

“I will begin with the positive- based on how much I paid for this hotel room, my expectations were very low, and I was pleased to see the room was very clean and very comfortable when we arrived. The front desk staff was kind and friendly. Unfortunately, about 20 minutes after we checked in, a sudden thunderstorm with extremely high winds pass through. “Very dirty hotel. The carpet on the floor hadn’t been properly hoovered before our check in and there was dirt / dust / stains all over chairs and other surfaces. The room unfortunately smelt of smoke (even if it’s not allowed to smoke there apparently) and the sink in the toilet was missing the knobs. Overall a terrible hotel. The only ok thing was the bed. Not uncomfortable and decent bedding. Also - the personnel at check in was very nice and helpful :) ”
