Hotel ben gestito
L'hotel, con parcheggio privato, è stata un'ottima base per visitare l'isola in macchina. L'aeroporto e la città di Rodi sono vicini. Inoltre possiede vari servizi (piscine, ristorante/bar,...) anche per chi non vuole spostarsi molto ed i proprietari sono gentilissimi.

Residence molto confortevole e tranquillo.
Sono stati 15 gg di assoluto riposo, nella pace e nella tranquillità di uno splendido ambiente naturale, curato con cura ed amore dai proprietari, proprietari tra l'altro gentilissimi e molto disponibili con la clientela. Il residence è felicemente posto a poche centinaia dal mare di cui non si sente una grande mancanza per la presenza di due belle piscine, anche queste tenute con cura e con amore. Il verde che circonda l'area è piacevolissimo. Tutto è estremamente curato con professionalità e con notevole esperienza al fine di mettere l'ospite completamente a proprio agio. Anche la cucina, curata, con attenzione ai gusti della clientela, ma nello spirito della cucina tradizionale greca, è di ottima qualità in quanto vengono usati prodotti direttamente prodotti (olio, olive, ecc.). Infine la location: è situata in una zona poco lontana dall'aeroporto, dalla città di Rodi e comoda per visitare i principali siti naturali e/o archeologici dell'isola.

Grazioso albergo e proprietari gentilissimi
Sono "capitata" in questo albergo per aver preso un pacchetto su expedia. Si trova a circa 20 minuti di macchina dalla città di Rodi. L'edificio è nuovo, in mezzo al verde, le camere sono semplici, ma spaziose e pulite, ognuna con un balconcino, e un cucinino. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e parlano perfettamente italiano. Ci sono due piscine (anzi tre, la terza è piccolina e non saprei se è l'idromassaggio o la piscina per i piccoli) con lettini e ombrelloni, e un buon ristorante. E' proprio vicino alla fermata del bus, e a un centinaio di metri dal mare (ma il mare, su questa costa di Rodi, a meno che non pratichiate windsurf o kitesurf non è proprio l'ideale perchè è molto ventoso). Secondo me è ottimo se volete girare l'isola; non è l'ideale per chi cerca un hotel vicino alla spiaggia. Si trova vicino all'aeroporto, ma non è eccessivamente rumoroso. Unici, piccoli difetti: - aria condizionata a pagamento (e ad agosto in Grecia è necessaria) - pochissime prese nella stanza, nessuna in bagno - manca l'oscuramento notturno, c'è una tenda, ma lascia passare completamente la luce

Bella struttura!!!!
La struttura si trova a 10 minuti di macchina dall'aeroporto di Rodi...parcheggio antistante la struttura stessa, ristorante dove è possibile fare colazione, pranzi e cene a prezzi più che economici e con porzioni abbondanti. Le camere sono spaziose, dotate di bagno con doccia e angolo cottura, grande balcone con tavolino e sedie con vista direttamente sulle tre piscine. I titolari sono persone gentilissime e disponibili (parlano varie lingue tra cui l'italiano). Da assaggiare i liquori fatti da Evangelina (la proprietaria)....quello alla menta è il top!!! Lo consiglio!!!

Atmosfera familiare, ambiente sereno e cordiale. Ristorante di ottimo livello a prezzi ragionevoli. Unico minus: rumoroso per via del vicino aeroporto, manca l'asciugacapelli in camera.

L'estate prolungata!!!
Dallo splendido mare di Otranto all'altrettanto limpido e cristallino mare di Rodi. Il tutto con la cordialità e la disponibilità di tutto il personale del Filoxenia, residence in posizione strategica per visitare l'intera isola e farsi coccolare dalle prelibatezze della cucina tipica locale.

Graziosissimo albergo a conduzione famigliare...
Siamo rimasti soddisfatti da questa esperienza...questo posto ci rimarrà nel cuore. Vorremmo usare poche parole ma dirette...ottima accoglienza da parte dei proprietari e ottima disponibilità in tutto. Abbiamo passato una settimana in serenità e la cosa bella era sentirsi come a casa...oltre al loro ruolo da proprietari dell'albergo svolto nel migliore dei modi ci rimarranno nel cuore i loro racconti. Pulizia delle stanze buona e sempre precisa...che dire di più ? Vi troverete benissimo e soprattutto ottimo per le famiglie. Ottimo anche per le coppie giovani come la nostra... Abbiamo soggiornato presso questo albergo il 26 settembre. la camera per il prezzo di 19 Euro era più che decorosa. L'albergo è molto carino e i propiretari veramnete gentili e cordiali. Comodo per l'aereoporto.

Séjour agréable
Un petit hôtel sympathique à taille humaine. La chambre était conforme à ce que nous avions réservé. Le cadre tout autour de l’hôtel est tres charmant : jardin bien entretenu et fleuri, arbres fruitiers…nous avons mangé plusieurs fois au restaurant de l’hôtel, la nourriture est excellente et le tarif est correcte (soirée barbecue entre autre), enfin les propriétaires de l’établissement sont très gentils et très investis dans la tenue de leur hôtel

Nach 2019 unser zweiter Besuch in diesem Hotel. Die Anlage ist immer noch sehr sauber, das Inhaber Ehepaar ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Essen ist immer noch sehr gut und bezahlbar. Eine echte Empfehlung für alle die etwas abseits von den großen Touristen Herbergen Urlaub machen möchten.

Eine wunderschöne und sehr saubere Hotelanlage. Das Filoxenia wird von der Besitzer Familie geführt und man fühlt sich ab dem ersten Moment sehr wohl. Die Zimmer waren. Sehr sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand. In unseren Zimmern haben einige Fernsehsendung nicht funktioniert, der Besitzer hat sich sofort darum gekümmert und das Problem beseitigt. Die Anlage selbst liegt etwas entfernt von Touristenzentrum was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, unsere Erwartungen wurden wirklich übertroffen.

Tout était parfait ! Le lieu est charmant , très beau et bien entretenu. Conforme aux photos sur site. Les équipements sont extras. Les logements propres et spacieux. La nourriture est délicieuse . Et surtout l'accueil des propriétaires et de tout le personnel est incroyable. Bienveillants , dévoués et professionnels avec un supplément d'âme .. on se sent bien comme chez soi.

Lovely apartments and staff.
Stayed for a blissful week - the apartments and pool areas were spotless. Niko and his wife were friendly and very helpful. There is a bus stop outside the Hotel which goes to Rhodes for 3 Euros each. The mini golf was a bonus although there is a small charge. Would definitely recommend.

Exceeded expectation on so many levels
First of all, Nikos & Evangelina are 2 of the most hospitable & welcoming people you could ever meet. The food served at the restaurant is excellent & many of the flavours come from their beautifully kept gardens. Had some of the best meals in Rhodes at Filoxenia, especially the BBQ on Friday night. Absolutely loved the week spent here and would recommend it to anyone. Rooms are spacious and clean with fairly basic amenities and the island itself has plenty to explore also. Recommend a day trip to Symi Island if you have the time

First class hotel restaurant on site

A little gem, perfect for exploring the island
Brilliant family run hotel. The cleanest hotel I have ever been in. Considering we went towards the end of the season, everything was perfect. The hotel is super close to the airport, you can jump on the local bus from the airport (15-20 mins) or it's a 10 mins taxi ride away. The bus stop is directly outside of the hotel. We also hired a car for the day from the hotel to explore the island, I would highly recommend this. There is a pebble beach about a 5-10min walk away from the hotel, it's a lovely stretch of beach for a nice stroll along, it's also suitable for swimming. We also found a traditional, family-run, Greek restaurant in Fanes by the harbour that's served lovely Greek food (can be found on TripAdvisor), otherwise there are a lot of restaurants in the town closest to the hotel. The hotel also has its own restaurant which is lovely and well priced, they also use produce grown on the hotel grounds, so everything is super fresh. Overall this hotel is amazing value for money and I would definitely return.

Very welcoming
Never been to Greece before. What can I say? Such a friendly place as soon as we arrived we felt as if we had been there for ages. Nicos and Eva are the best couple ever.They work so hard to make sure everyone is happy with their stay and no job is too big for them.They remember you name aswell which is very rare with other hotels. The hotel is lovely and clean plus we felt safe there through out our stay. We sat on our balcony with a lovely sea view. The cleaners and staff never stop they are constantly on the go. Definately go again and would suggest others try it too. Filoxenia puts some 4 and 5 star hotels to shame.

Great hotel, lovely staff
We had a fantastic stay at Filoxenia. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable with views of the sea and olive groves. The swimming pools were perfect and the restaurant served great local food as well as other international dishes. But the best thing about the hotel was the owners (Nico and his family) and the staff - they were friendly, attentive and helpful and helped create a great atmosphere around the place. When we were not happy with the first rooms we were given they were accommodating and gave us new rooms as soon as they became available. We really loved the hotel and would recommend it to friends wishing to visit Rhodes.

Great family-run property.
Friendly Family-run property and an incredible value. The restaurant offered a great range of Greek cuisines and Nickos and Evangelina and their staff were very helpful in making the most of our visit to Rhodes. My only quibble is wifi not being available in the rooms, and ours was also in a signal dead zone. All communication had to come from the public area. But, the bed mattress was the most comfortable of our Greece trip!

Super til prisen!
Fantastisk fint og hyggeligt hotel til prisen. Vi var især glade for pool- og bar/restaurantområdet. Utroligt flinke og søde ejere og ansatte - man føler at de oprigtigt går op i at man får et super ophold. Sengene på værelset var ikke de bedste og badet var ikke alt for smart indrettet, men herudover ikke noget at sætte en finger på! Retaurenten der er tilknyttet hotellet er ganske ok, ikke dårlig, men heller ikke fantastisk :) Hvis jeg kommer tilbage til Rhodos, skal jeg helt sikkert bo her.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und Betreuung durch das Eigentümerpaar. Schon nach kurzer Zeit haben wir uns wie Zuhause gefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Bei Hitze ist der Pool unbezahlbar. Das hauseigene Restaurant können wir nur empfehlen. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt, ist preiswert und es sind "holiday portions" :-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Lauter Kühlschrank im Zimmer
Haben nur eine Nacht hier verbracht. Jedoch konnten wir nicht schlafen da der Kühlschrank laute Geräusche von sich gab und sich nicht abstellen / ausstecken lies... ...war mit den Nerven am Ende wollte schon den Kabel durchschneiden.

Leider enttäuschend, nicht empfehlenswert…
Wir (Mitte 30) waren zwei Wochen dort und es war enttäuschend. Null komfort und das Essen wurde aufgetaut :-( Es gab gewisse No-Go's in meinen Augen wie z.B.: - Uralte Handtücher mit Löchern - Keine Matrazenauflage - Matrazen sehr hart - Für die Klimaanlage sollte man 6 Euro pro Tag zahlen - frech, grade im Sommer bei +35 Grad - Sogar der Hotelsafe sollte 3 Euro am Tag(!) kosten - frech, wofür haben sie ihn dann ?!? - Pool ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen - Badezimmer sehr alt, Warmwasserpumpe laut und nach dem Duschen steht das Bad immer unter Wasser - Kein TV - schlechtes Internet - kein Mückennetz an den Fenstern (jeden Abend mindestens 5 mal gestochen) Einziges Plus: Die Eigentümer waren schon sehr nett, aber das reicht nicht.

Leuk hotel waar je je thuis voelt.
Bij aankomst krijg je meteen een erg hartelijke welkom van eigenaar Nikos. De kamer is groot en alle kamers hebben zeezicht (tot het strand is het 5 minuten wandelen). De badkamer is, zoals in bijna alle hotels in Griekenland, klein en oncomfortabel. De bedden en matrassen zijn zeer goed en de kitchenette is voldoende uitgerust. De zwembaden en tuinen zijn mooi aangelegd en worden goed onderhouden. Er zijn meer dan voldoende, zeer comfortabele, ligstoelen rond het zwembad. Er is een bushalte voor de deur : naar de luchthaven is 15 minuten, naar Rhodos stad 45 minuten. Dit is meteen het enige nadeel van dit hotel : de lange reistijd naar Rhodos stad waar alle excursies beginnen.

So soll ein Griechenland-Urlaub sein!
Wir verbrachten mit einer befreundeten Familie eine wunderbare Ferienwoche im Hotel Filoxenia, einem typisch griechischen Familienbetrieb. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, allerdings ohne TV, dafür mit großem Balkon und einer kleinen Kochnische. Die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt, man bekommt jederzeit Liegestühle unter einem der Sonnenschirme. Das Essen in der hauseigenen Taverne ist köstlich! Besonders hat uns die Warmherzigkeit der Familie betrieben, die das Hotel seit dem Jahr 1998 betreibt. Im nächsten Jahr kommen wir bestimmt wieder!

Great hotel!
Stayed with my teenage daughter for a week in August. Convenient location (10 minute taxi journey from the airport), wonderful staff, sheets/towels changed and rooms cleaned daily, very reasonably priced food, good pools with no shortage of sun loungers. Would highly recommend.

Good base, two pools, need a car to explore Rhodes
Very friendly. Rooms cleaned every day. Not too large so easy to get a lounger by the pools... Easy half hour drive to Rhodes town or even nearer for lallysos for decent food. Good value base.
