Grazioso residence con piscina e spiaggia
Bella vacanza fatela senz'altro!! Posti meravigliosi da visitare e Zorbas è la base ideale. Si può andare a Chania in 20 min e visitare Elafonisi e Balos in un'ora e mezza circa. Vicino spiagge da raggiungere a piedi e ristoranti con ottima cucina (da non perdere Sunset)

Bella e pulita struttura a pochi passi dalla baia
Piacevole struttura molto pulita con bella vista mare e sito minoico di fronte. Il sig. George e la sua signora sono molto ospitali e gentili. 4/5 taverne a un tiro di schioppo sulla spiaggia. Pace assicurata

I liked the fact the property is on the beach. The pool is beautiful and clean. I did not like the fact there is no restaurant on the property. Only a snack bar in the pool area.

The self contained accommodation at Zorbas Beach Village hotel was very nice and it included everything you might need even for a longer stay (e.g. small electric oven & stove, microwave, all utensils you might need...). We also enjoyed the two private balconies and large kitchen/lounge with tv. We particularly liked the fact that reception left few mosquitoes repellent plugs as this was a nice touch. The complex is in a quiet narrow lane a bit isolated from the main town, but easily reachable either by car or by their free shuttle bus. Only "negative" note is that the we discovered the very nice pool was only open in the afternoon (after 2.30pm) which was a bit of a bummer as we planned to use it in the morning, as well as the fact that the small private beach didn't have any umbrella and few chairs. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice, relaxing, clean and friendly. Homes are well equipped and comfortable. Food is very good as well. Nice bar, pool area and beach. Couple more beaches nearby. Two Supermarkets down town about one mile away. You can ask for free transportation. Transfer to airport 30 euros. Nice play area for kids. Only one other restaurant nearby. Bus stop to Chania and Stavros centre about 500 metres on main road. We had lovely Holidays half term October. Very recommended. We will visit again!

Good location for exploring the area. Lovely pool, beautiful gardens excellent friendly staff who were always accommodating. Typical Greek Taverna with lovely food right next door. The perfect place to relax which is what we were looking for. We would go back.

Charmant petit village de vacances au bord de la mer, petite crique de sable. Comme on est au bout de la route, l'endroit est très calme et tranquille. Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins. Les appartements sont propres, ménage fait et linge changé tous les jours. Pas de vis à vis entre appartements, charmant jardin fleuri et piscine magnifique. Bref un beau petit coin de paradis pour se reposer.

Rigtig fint hotel af ældre dato, men flot vedligeholdt. Beliggenhed er super med direkte adgang til lille privat strand. Omgivelserne er stille og rolige og ikke overfyldt. Gode lokale restauranter i nærheden. Fordel at have bil.

The hotel located in front of a beach, but that is like 20 yard in diameter. The real beaches are not directly accessible from the hotel. You have to go around the town (15 min walk for a closest beach). After all, the ocean view is great and it was quiet as not really summer season yet.

Établissement familial, très calme, à l’ecart de l’agitation touristique. Petits bungalows individuels en bord de mer et au cœur d’un joli jardin, avec petite terrasse individuelle. Équipés d’une kitchenette avec four micro ondes, plaques électriques et frigo. Air conditionné et coffre fort. Accueil extrêmement aimable et attentif, bons conseils sur les sites à visiter. Literie un peu trop dure à mon goût. Belle piscine avec vue sur la mer et la montagne. Proche de la plage de Stavros, accessible à pied.

En dårlig start
Vi ankom kl. 14:00 og fik at vide, at vi ikke kunne få den bestilte lejlighed pga. 'plumming problems'. I stedet kunne vi få et lille studio + gratis morgenmad. Vi så det og var ikke interesserede. derfor bad jeg om at få vores penge tilbage, så vi kunne finde et andet overnatningssted. der blev ringet til manageren, som tilsyneladende sagde nej. Så blev vi sat til at vente, og ført 15:30 kunne vi få det, vi havde bestilt og betalt for, og jeg er helt sikker på, at det kun skete, fordi jeg var særdeles vedholdende i, at vi ville have det, vi havde betalt for eller have pengene retur. Da jeg spurgte, hvordan de pludseligt alligevel kunne fremskaffe en lejlighed, var svaret, at de ville forsøge at overtale andre gæster til et byt. Det er fuldstændig uacceptabelt, at vi skulle stå og vente 1½ time på at kunne booke ind - og uden nogen former for kompensation. De to damer i receptionen var venlige. Vi forsøgte adskillige at få kontakt med Hotels.com, men vi kunne ikke komme igennem deres telefonsluse. Vi blev ved med at få svaret, at det reservationsnummer, vi angav, ikke fandtes. Det er også helt uacceptabelt, at man i en nødsituation ikke altid kan få fat på Hotels.com. Vi har været kunder i firmaet i mange år, og det er første gang, vi har haft brug for hjælp - som vi så ikke kunne få.

Prisvärt och lugnt med härlig utsikt!
Prisvärt med härlig utsikt. Små funktionella rum med bra kostnadsfri air condition. Rena rum som städas varje dag, handdukar skiftas var tredje dag och strandhandukar hämtar man i receprtionen var dag om man så vill. Bra kostnadsfritt WiFi, poolen har en vacker utsikt. Om man inte vill äta vid poolbaren så intill (2 min gång) så ligger där en trevlig liten taverna med grekiska köket på menyn, precis vid en liten vacker strand i en liten vik med kristallklart vatten.

Hyggelig hotell med fin beliggenhet
Koselig og hyggelig hotell med rolig beliggenhet. Fint basseng og ikke noe stress med solsenger, alltid ledig. Hyggelig bassengbar med servering hele dagen. Liten strand rett ved hotellet. Fine leiligheter i små lave hus. Eneste problem var at det var aircondition bare i det ene rommet slik at det ble for varmt på det andre soverommet. Der stod en manuell vifte, Vi leide bil på flyplassen som vi brukte til å dra rundt på øya. Flere strender i nærheten. Fantastisk solnedgang.Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Quiet and removed from the crowds
Friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Room was fine with a hard bed. No coffee maker though. Nice view of gardens and out to the sea. Dinner was pretty good for the second night of operation but the view from the deck made up for it.

Great stay
We stayed at the Zorbas Beach Village Hotel the last week in April and it was really great. As it was the very beginning of the 'holiday season', the hotel was quiet and very pleasant. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a two bedroom apartment which was great; a kingsize bed in the open plan front room and two single beds in the back room. We had a terrace at the front and back, both with a table and chairs, so we could always catch the sun! The apartment had a small kitchenette which was more than adequate with a microwave and two-ring hot plate for cooking (pans, basic utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery provided). Towels were provided and were changed at least once during our stay. We ate breakfast at the hotel a few mornings - this was really good value at 8 euros as there is lots of choice and it's seemingly unlimited. We were able to order the breakfast items we wanted, but maybe there is a breakfast buffet when the tourist season picks up, as there was a table with a buffet set up that we didn't see used during our stay. The food at the hotel (we only tried evening meals, not lunch) was ok, and there is also a taverna next door (Thanasis) that was worth a visit. The best place we ate by a mile was the Sunset Taverna right on Stavros Beach - it's a short walk (maybe 20 mins) from the hotel and serves really delicious food. Everything was clean and well looked after.

Lugnt och avkopplande för hela familjen
Trivsamt familjehotell fritt från "Bamseklubbar". De ca 50 lägenheterna ligger avskilda från varandra med egen "täppa" framför balkongen. All nödvändig köksutrustning finns för matlagning. Vi hade turen att ha ett rum som låg i skugga från eftermiddagen, så med hjälp av fördragna gardiner hade vi svalt i rummet på nätterna. I rummen med eftermiddagssol behöver man nog kosta på sig de 9 euro/dygn som hotellet tar i hyra för air comdition, vilket vi tycker borde ingå i hotellpriset. Däremot låg vår lägenhet i anslutning till en annan, som kunde öppnas upp till en svit, endast avskiljd med en dörr emellan, och en garderob som var placerad framför. Det gjorde att vår och grannens lägenhet var extremt lyhörda. Annars uppskattade vi närheten till poolen och restaurangen. Sängarna var bekväma pch det var helt och rent. Ingen superlyx, men hotellet förtjänar mer än väl den enda "stjärnan" på betygskalan. Hotellet erbjuder utflyktsmöjligheter vilket kan rekommenderas om man tröttnar på solandet vid poolen. Den egna lilla stranden erbjuder sköna bad i långgrund vid med stenig botten. Maten på restaurangenvar god och vällagad, men efter ett par dagar lite enkelspårig, så då finns andra tavernor i närheten. Solnedgången vid poolen/restaurangen är magnifik. Lite längre bort ligger den lilla stranden Zorba beach, där finns också fler tavernor och restauranger. Området är lugnt och avkopplande i lantlig miljö. Vill man ha en lugn och avkopplad semester med familjen kan man absolut åka hit.

perfect family time
this was the most relaxing holiday with stunning views. the kids facilities where right out side our rooms so we could just sit back on the veranda and enjoy the crystal clear sky with a bottle of local wine. the swimming pool over looks the sea which is breath taking. 100% going back

Huoneistohotellli sijaitsee maaseudun rauhassa, aivan meren rannalla. Huoneistoja oli montaa eri kokoa ja osan pystyi yhdistämään isommallekin porukalle. Huoneet olivat juuri kunnostettuja ja pinnat olivat hyvässä kunnossa. Palvelu oli hyvää ja joustavaa. Allasbaarilta sai myös maistuvan aamiaisen ja iltapalaa. Vuokra-auton kanssa liikkuvalle aivan loistava paikka. Pari pientä rantaa sadan metrin päässä, pari Tavernaa ja kauppoja perustarpeeseen, sekä pari rantaa lisää kävelymatkan päässä. Muutoin palvelut automatkan päässä. Rauhalliseen lomailuun paikan päällä ja tukikohdaksi autolla laajemmin saarella seikkailevalle. Ei luksusta etsiville, mutta hintaansa nähden erinomainen majoitus rauhaa rakastaville, pariskunnista perheille.

Hadde noen supre dager på hotellet. Nydelig utførelse på området, og veldig bra renhold og orden på hele anlegget. Kort vei til stranden, bare 50 meter nedenfor bassenget. Det er saltvann i bassenget, som var litt rart til å begynne med, men etter kort tid ble både voksne og barn vant til det. Veldig hyggelig å serviceinnstilt betjening. Kommer helt sikkert til å reise tilbake dit ved en sener annledning. Ca 15 min å gå til super strand i Stavros. 35 min med buss til Chania.

Stavroksen kylä meren ääressä, keskellä ei mitään, aivan mahtavat maisemat. 500m päässä kaksi "supermarketia" ja kylällä pari tavernaa....ei mitään muuta Auto ihan välttämätön jos haluaa vähänkään ihmisten ilmoille tai shoppailemaan Matkaa lentokentältä ei ole kuin 11km, mutta sekin serpenttiiniä vuoristossa, ja kreetalainen liikenne, huh-huh, liikennesäännöthän on tunetusti vain turisteja varten, autoilu tuolla ei sovi alotteilijoille. Matkaa esim Plataniakseen vain 17km, mutta matka-aika ilman Chanian ruuhkaa 45min!!! mutkissa kun nopeusrajoitus on 25 ja syystä. Merivesi-allas kellutti niin hienosti että evääkään ei tarttenut liikauttaa että pysyi pinnalla, suosittelen uimalaseja, suolavesi ja heiastava aurinko sai silmät kyllä kirvelemään Meillä oli olohuone (jossa parisänky) avokeittiöllä ja erillinen makuuhuone, parveekkeet niin aamu- kuin iltaaurinkoon, ilmastointia ei tarvittu, kun ikkunoissa ötökkäverkot ja verhot tiukasti kiinni, itse ikkunoitahan ei tietenkään suljettu missään vaiheessa. Mini-keittiössä oli jääkaappi, 2 keittolevyä, vedenkeitin ja mikro!, kaapissa paistinpannu ja kattila, muutama lautanen lasi ja kuppi, kertikset on kova sana Tallelokero kuului hintaan, eikä myöhäinen uloskirjatuminen 12->20 maksanut kuin 30€ extraa Altaan yhteydessä baari/ravintola...ihan ok, altaalle ei saa viedä minkäänlaisia omia eväitä/juomia - tästä miiiiinus

We stayed one night. There is a nice pool and a great view. The hotel is away from most of the activity areas in Crete so if you want to get out and see the sites you will need a car.
