Hotel a Griswold

“Recently renovated.”

“Rte 6 can be an issue when making a left into the parking lot of the hotel depending on time of day. Be careful. Room was clean, lighting could be better. No table lamps just ceiling lights with led. A little bright. Water pressure and temp was great. Bed was comfortable. Could have used another blanket and maybe 2 more towels for 2 adults for 2 nights. All in all I would recommend due to cleanliness and the gentleman who helped us at check in was great. ”

“The rooms are ok, but staff are not accommodating and treat customers like they are staying at a cheap motel....”

“Overall clean. They did change our room because someone had smoked in our booked room and there was an odor. The staff didn’t try to talk me out if it or anything. I appreciate that. ”

“Somehow I missed that they did not have a fridge or coffeemaker. When we went to breakfast it was mostly gone and no one was around refilling it, so we waited and then ended up going elsewhere and paying for breakfast. The blinds did not close all the way and our room faced street lights so our room lit up all night. Pillows were good but bed was hard unfortunately. I have a broken foot and when they asked what floor we wanted we said the third so as we didn't hear feet above us as we tried...

“Very out dated room broken refrigerator ,no phone to call front desk . no ice mashine no vending mashine for drinks the smell of musty was awful in the room. I will not recommend. ”

“We drove for 6 to 7 hours to get to Storrs and there was no one to check us in when we got there. I totally understand that the check in desk staff needs to step away sometimes, but it seemed like we were waiting quite a while. I did like the grab and go muffin/danish/cereal bar.”

“Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites is a great hotel that is close to the Mohegan Sun casino, the hotel has a shuttle that goes to and from the casino, it’s a great feature. The hotel also has complementary breakfast and clean rooms. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.”
