“We had a great stay at The Observatory in Christchurch. It’s a beautiful hotel—formerly a university—and they’ve preserved the original aesthetic, which gives it a lot of character. The photos honestly don’t do it justice; it’s even more stunning in person. The room and bathroom were very spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. The location is also very convenient. Would definitely recommend staying here.”

Simpatica , disponibile ed accogliente la proprietaria. Vicino a tutto, ma del resto il centro di Christchurch è piccolo e non c' e' granche'”

“Service was very friendly and helpful. The upgrade was appreciated and the fact that I could checkin earlier after a long flight. Location is great close to a bakery in what seems like a good neighborhood. Bed was comfortable , heater in the bathroom was great Z soap, conditioner and shampoo provided. Maybe the only thing I would change is not charge extra for laundry as it’s off putting.”

“Quiet and convenient location. Lovely staff but they forgot about my pre booked carpark. Their carpark was full and had to park on the street. ”

“The staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional, which made a real difference to our stay. Breakfast was fresh, with plenty of variety and more than enough to choose from. The room and bed were modern, clean, and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised overall and would highly recommend staying here. If there were a six-star rating, Sudima Christchurch City would absolutely deserve it.”

“Our room staff were very good. Always made up the room to a nice standard, clean and tidy. Our main gripe was the exorbitant room rates for a room that didn’t even supply a basic Sky connection but relied on you having an app to cover your in room viewing. Very high rate considering there were at least twenty motel units within 800 meters with vacancy’s. Will say the gardens and pool area were nicely kept.”

“Room is tidy, house keeping regularly, handy to have laundry room. Good location within good proximity of where we needed to go during our stay. Over all good stay, good sized room for 2 people ”
