Di passaggio a Halls Gap
La reception chiude alle 20. Hanno lasciato tutte le indicazioni per accedere alla camera, quindi nessun problema. I ristoranti nei dintorni chiudono presto, siamo stati fortunati a trovare un posto aperto alle 20:30 (il Bistro)

Great location near the heart of Halls Gap. Within 5-8min walk to most restaurants and shops. Kangaroos everywhere at dusk and dawn. Lots of bird life too. Could hear kookaburras at dawn. Our room was comfortable enough but doesn't seem very clean. The towels were on the thin side. Service wise, we requested for room make up service but the staff claimed we did not. We also had another guest trying to open our door. They told us the staff informed them this was there toom.

Amazing views from the room with a small patio to watch the Kangaroos from. Wildlife comes right up to the motel. very comfortable and clean. great value. amazing, inexpensive laundry service and everything in Halls Gap is walkable

Enjoyed my stay here. I was a bit early before checkinn, but the owner made sure my room was cleaned earlier. Nice and quiet location for a nice way of seeing Hall Gap.

Wildlife Heaven
We were at Kookaburra Motel from 18 - 20 January not as stated above. Fabulous mountain views from room. Wildlife abounds, Kangaroos bounding everywhere, kookaburras, magpies, cockatoos. Simply lovely. Shower water too cold on first morning and even though issue was reported and 'fixed' the following morning was similar with very luke warm water. A bit more effort on bathroom cleanliness would have been good and quite noisy on Friday night up until about midnight. Overall a reasonable stay for a 2 day break at Halls Gap at a good price.

Beautiful veiws,and roos and deer in the meadow in front of the mountain. Incredible. Room was rustic but well appointed and clean. Staff friendly. Overall very happy.

Staff did what they could with a tired motor lodge
Great position in a quiet spot near all amenities. Wildlife viewing from the room with lots of kangaroos & bird life. Convenient parking outside the door. The staff were helpful. The place needs a complete refurb especiallt the bathroom & outdoor patio. However, we enjoyed our stay.

scenic stopover
A clean if well worn economical motel in a quiet and central location. Very pleasant outlook to the mountains on both sides. Friendly wildlife and just a short walk to central Halls Gap.

I first stayed in this place around 8 years ago. The place obviously needs updating from its carpet, AC, bathroom, etc. The little garden outside also needs looking after as the plants have overgrown. Still a good view of the mountain and the Kangaroos though.

Bird chorus in the morning, kangaroos everywhere, tame kookaburra and cockatoos. Lovely to have coffee on the verandah and watch the wildlife.

施設は古い感じだが、なんと言ってもカンガルーが部屋の前にエサを食べにくるのが良かった。施設の外にも野生のカンガルーは多く、またショップ等もすぐ近くにあるので、とても便利だと思う。車があれば名所を回るのも便利な場所です。

This property is well positioned behind the central Halls Gap shopping area and cafes, whilst the outlook towards the mountains is superb. The bushes around the courtyard behind the room need trimming. The property is dated, especially the rather noisy a.c. The towels are small and "rather thin". Despite this the room was comfortable and clean. (soap holder in the shower recess requires cleaning). On arrival the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We arrived 10 minutes before check in time. Our room was not going to be ready for another half hour. When we asked for a shorter wait as we needed to change for a wedding the girl at reception immediately offered us another room. She was most pleasant and welcoming.

Overall was an alright place, beautiful view, was not overly thrilled with random people in our backyard area sitting in the chairs while we were inside quietly.

It's a little worn but clean. We struggled with the power options so couldn't get bathroom lights on. (We're Canadians so...)absolutely loved outside sitting table to watch kangaroos, deer, cockatoos,etc. Must stay for this alone.

Property is old and in need of modernisation. Heating didn’t work, power points didn’t seem to work. Cleaning was average and there were crumbs on the dining table and half an open container of milk in the fridge. Definitely a budget stay.

A bit dated but clean and comfortable, good location near the main street, fridge/kettle/microwave, lots of TV options (Netflix, etc.). Only negatives were very loud birds nearby, and heater was a bit of a trial and error exercise (i.e. is level 2 equal to room temperature? What is level 2 like on low vs medium vs high?).

The person checking me and my friend in assumed we were a same sex couple. Once it was clarified that we had two separate rooms, he was suddenly much more friendly. Also the shower was unclean and had not been thoroughly cleaned for quite some time. Would not recommend.

Comfortable cottage style
A charming cottage style motel. Exactly what we expected, clean and comfortable, nothing fancy. Our companions (first time to Au) were charmed by the kangaroos grazing outside the patio door in the morning.

Excellent location. Great animal viewing on grasses by property. Close to interesting walks and conveniently situated for shops and restaurants. Fully equipped so could eat from your room. In warmer times could eat outside next to wildlife. Property has BBQ for guest use. Highly recommended!

Very convenient.
Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Position in Halls Gap was fabulous. Super easy to walk to shops. Wildlife at the door. Room was very comfortable and very clean. It is an older style unit. Price was very good. Would stay there again.

The hot water was amazing best shower experience i have in years i dont know why people were complaining about it. I also liked that the host would walk into are room to check the water was up to standards
