“The ohana was absolutely beautiful with original artwork and other decor that msde it feel like Hawaii inside and out. We loved the outdoor tub and everything in general was comfortable and well situated. No issues finding it, though I could see how it may be difficult to find in the dark, the owner's instructions are clear and pictures help guide you. Awesome smashburger stand just 8 minutes away. Highly recommend.”

“David was a lovely host and provided a generous welcome with tips on the local flora. The house is simple in the best way - utterly relaxing and with all you need. The location is spectacular for snorkeling because you can walk to the best spots and shower in the outdoor shower after. The cottage is charming with thoughtful updates (AC) and is impeccably maintained.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at Mark's place and visiting the NP. Mark is a great host and was invaluable in alerting us to the latest eruptions. Thanks to him, we were able to witness the eruption on July 9th, which was an amazing 1,200 foot tall fountain of lava. You can really tell that Mark put some thought into the cottage and its amenities. We had everything we needed for our visit. Highly recommended!”

“Perfect little house located just outside Pahoa. 5 Minute drive puts you downtown, or on the HI-way to whatever destination for the day! Very clean and comfortable. If you are traveling to Pahoa it is perfect size for a family of 3 or 4 I recommend this spot !”

“Great central local position on a great quiet street. Bit warm downstairs as we couldn’t turn the fan on but have the light off at bedtime for the kids. Close to airport, shopping and places to eat. Place was very spacious. ”

“Loved everything about this place! The location is great. We walked across the street to watch the sunset every evening, always a stunning show. The house was easy to live in, equipped with everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the lanai which looks toward the ocean. There’s beach equipment, and the beaches are a very short drive from the house. There’s also a park at the end of the street where you can get in the water if you’re on the more adventurous side.
