Hotel romantici a Hamakua Coast

“Kahoa House was our vacation home for 4 days accommodating a multi-generational family of 4 adults and 2 children (9 &12yo). We loved the spectacular coastal location on Hilo Bay, especially all the wave action, surfers and even a cruise ship passing. It's a cozy, clean, well equipped home in a prime location with easy access to the regional attractions. Loved covered outdoor Lanai and front deck. Our visit to Volcanoes National Park was spectacular with Kilauea in full eruption. Abundance...

“The place exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and stocked with cooking supplies (including well stocked teas), the lanai was great for eating outside or relaxing on comfortable furniture (a member of our party fell sick and preferred recouping outside), and being next to the Botanical Adventure gardens. We enjoyed walking the property among the lemon drop mango orchard, banana plants, mango tree, cacao tree, red sealing wax...

“Place different from the pictures on the web site. 10 min driving in the jungle to reach the place, no signals. Hosted in a TENT, no room shower, no hot water, dirty room, gym dirty with birds excrements. Poor breakfast (additional 25$ per person), no orange juice, no eggs, flying insects on the food. Worm in the shared shower ..... We booked 3 nights, after 1 night we left asked for reimbursement, hotel refused claiming that is expedia problem. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !”
