“Kikala Waterfall Lodge is a unique experience. Nature is your lullaby. We fell asleep to the sound of flowing water, croaking frogs, and the birds chirping. The rain shower added to the experience. The cabin was clean. The lodge had all you would need -kitchen, bathroom with shower, a living space with couch and chairs. “My family stayed here for a week for celebrations and a family reunion. The property is stunning and the hosts are kind, welcoming and well-informed on the area and property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-equipped (a vitamix!) The hosts are good communicators and I would highly recommend this place for a big group looking for lots of space in a remote area of Hawaii island. “Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up.”
