“Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.”

“The parking was easy outside after 6pm and we were gone by 9am so the restrictions were not an issue. Breakfast was great and the room was very well presented and clean. We have stayed in St Anne’s at the hotel many times and always found the team to be very helpful. Would recommend to anyone.”

“The hotel was really lovely compared to others in the area. We walked to the tower from our hotel it took 40 mins. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We could see the sea from our room, the pleasure park backed on to the back of the hotel it was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely for £19 per person I would recommend this hotel for your stay. The tram is across the main road to the left To get to the tower they only take card payment.”

“Room spotless,bed huge and very comfortable, bathroom was suitably kitted out for disabled guests and gorgeous. Staff were lovely and friendly. Bar prices were quite steep and there were no arcade machines which was nice for a change. We didnt have breakfast at the hotel as we needed to get home quickly.if a quiet hotel near enough to the town centre is what you want then the best western carlton is perfect.”
