“We went for a weekend getaway with plans mostly to hang out in the pool and relax. We love the Drury brand and had not been to this one before. The pool is much smaller than others, still the indoor/outdoor set up. It was very cloudy & when the light came on (which was out of the holder and laying on the bottom of the pool) you could see a lot of stuff floating on top. “Overall, my stay was not a pleasant experience. The room and bed had a strong unpleasant odor, which made it difficult to stay comfortably. In addition, the air conditioner was not functioning properly and produced excessive noise throughout the night. I was also concerned about the environment outside the hotel, as there were several individuals appearing to engage in suspicious or disruptive activity near the main entrance, which made me feel unsafe. “This place was so nice! Tom on staff is EXCELLENT and very helpful. Breakfast was really good, buffet style. Eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, fresh fruit, biscuits, gravy, etc. Parking was easy and the grounds were beautiful.”

I didn’t find out that I was being guard extra till I got their is 1st issue, 2nd issue the system had crashed apparently before we got there and during our transaction for payment the system shut down again, 3rd a security guard had to walk us to our room and we had no keys to get back in our room and we wanted to get something to eat.
