“Well-appointed room! Spacious layout with high quality finishes. The staff went above and beyond showing the highest level of hospitality. Cannot recommend The Nickel enough.”

“Loved the breakfast basket. Loved the shuttle service. The wine and cheese happy hour was quite sad. Very little offerings and tray mostly empty each time we went.”

“I was shocked at the location. I'm glad I didn't plan to walk to the historic area, as it was not safe. The room was shockingly small, too small for even a bedside table to ut your glasses or phone on. It was made of concrete. This made it very loud in the room and uncomfortable. The bathroom door was basically for show and did not feel private. I would not stay here again. I would sleep in my car before paying to sleep there. ”

“Valet service is terrific. Staff is mediocre, old rooms, small, out of date. Rooms were serviced daily but cleanliness was lacking. Breakfast was poor and expensive. I paid $6.15 for a diet Dr Pepper at the desk. Not worth what they charge d try Hampton Inn down the street.”

“The property was recently opened so the pool was not yet available. The staff was amazing. We walked where we wanted to go, which was great, even though it’s a little away from the main cluster of hotels. I liked that the balcony allowed us to get some fresh air in. It was quiet. My husband enjoyed the breakfast but nothing appealed to me so I ate my homemade cereal in the room. I’m not a fan of the exposed clothes hangars (no true closet), but they are increasingly common. Ok for short stays.”
