The bed was too soft, apart from that, lovely room, very spacious.
Breakfast was good, lots on offer.

“A lovely historical Hotel, just far enough away so nice and quiet, with lots of outside space to enjoy the views. All staff friendly and helpful and food in both bar and restaurant very good. ”

“L'hotel è molto comodo per chi viaggia in auto, é adiacente alla strada principale e offre gratuitamente il parcheggio. La struttura è disposta come un motel con tutte le camere al piano terra, ma la qualità è quella propria di un hotel. La colazione ottima e abbondante. Abbiamo anche cenato rimanendo soddisfatti delle pietanze e del prezzo. Tutto il personale molto gentile disponibile e professionale. ”

“Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. ”

“The location is ideal for walking to the shopping centre or the Barbican. Car park on site was very useful. Hotel is very clean and rooms were serviced every day. Room was a gkkd size and bed very comfy. Staff were friendly but not very informative. Would definitely stay at Moxy again.”

“A lovely hotel right in the heart of town. Spotlessly clean and well equipped rooms but one issue for me was that the air conditioning units seem to be centrally limited to 22 degrees. This is far too warm imo and while it may not bother others would stop me booking again, at least during the summer. Food in the bistro also very good and pool area great also.”

“First time away with my partner on holiday for one night, the rooms were wonderful, nice spacious area and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished the check in was before 3pm but overall wonderful hotel to stay in for a night away or two. Definitely coming back again. ”

Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....

“One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time! I can’t remember what I paid for my one-night visit but it was a bargain, and I would be very happy to...
