“We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.”

“The staff at this hotel was incredibly rude. Nine of us friends had booked the same room and were all chatting in the hotel lobby on our first night. The receptionist, however, insisted that she needed the lobby back and kept closing her ears, claiming there was too much noise. To make matters worse, there was no waffle or pancake option for breakfast. On the second day, even the flatbreads were unavailable, and we had to buy our own and toast them ourselves.
