“Check in took more than 2 hours just to get assigned a room and to get keys.”

“Staff was not the type to go above and beyond. Breakfast was cold. Looks like they are renovating the rooms were very nice. Fitness center is not open 24/7 if that is your thing. I think things are going in the right direction for the hotel but I think this is a transition so there will be growing pains.”

“We had to leave and stay at a different hotel due to the unsanitary conditions at Whitehall Cottages. The bed had dirt and hair on the sheets and all around the mattress. There’s no staff on the property and the owner didn’t respond back until later in the evening after we were already checked in to a different hotel. When I asked for a refund I was told he couldn’t do it because we booked through Expedia…”

“This place was so much nicer than a chain hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable, king size bed, fireplace and a large balcony overlooking the harbor. Continental breakfast in the lobby with other guests and a great cup of coffee is a great day starter. We have family living in Grand Haven so, we're sure to be staying again!”

“This was a lovely property that was even nicer than we expected. Terrific location that was walking distance to town and the boardwalk. Would definitely stay here again!”
