'On The Anchorage' Hawks Nest

A poco più di 2 ore da Sydney; 40 minuti dall'aeroporto di Newcastle e ai margini di Port Stephens, Winda Woppa è situata tra le acque cristalline della spiaggia di Jimmy e il fiume Myall. A breve distanza il surf sulla spiaggia Bennetts e le strutture di Hawks Nest e Tea Gardens.

La casa dispone di 3 camere da letto e 1 bagno e offre una vista sul fiume Myall filtrati ed è a pochi passi da Jimmys Beach.

La casa dispone di 3 camere da letto - camera da letto principale e la seconda camera da letto sono nella parte anteriore della casa con vista filtrati al fiume ed entrambi contengono letti queen size. La terza camera si affaccia sul cortile erboso ed è messa a punto per i bambini con due serie di letti a castello e un materasso in più pure.

C'è una cucina open space / sala da pranzo / soggiorno con TV digitale, lettore DVD e una lavanderia separata collegata alla cucina. La cucina è stata recentemente rinnovata e contiene una lavastoviglie e piano cottura a gas / forno Smeg.

Ci sono 3 ventilatori portatili nella proprietà, che possono essere facilmente spostati tra le stanze.

Il cortile erboso è grande, sicuro e completamente recintato per far divertire tutta la famiglia. C'è un ponte sul fronte della casa per un aperitivo serale e un ponte sul retro della casa per sedersi all'ombra e guardare il Kookaburras tra gli alberi. Il ponte posteriore ha un barbecue a gas e c'è un / freddo doccia esterna calda per lavare via dopo una gita al mare.

L'area

Ci sono due spiagge a Hawks Nest - Spiaggia di Jimmy nella baia e la spiaggia di surf chiamato spiaggia di Bennett. Quest'ultimo è per il surf, mentre Spiaggia di Jimmy è per sunbaking, kayak, nuoto e vela. Le facciate delle case sul al fiume Myall dove si può pescare o prendere una barca nel labirinto dei Laghi Myall. Che si tratti di andare in bicicletta, pesca, surf, andare in barca o dolce far niente - Winda Woppa si rivolge a tutte le fughe per tutti i periodi dell'anno.

La Hunter Valley e le sue cantine sono solo un'ora o così via. Anche città storiche come Paterson, Morpeth, Maitland e Gloucester meritano una visita.

Beautiful house and location

The property was perfect for us. Three friends and I had a girls trip and the house had everything we needed to have a great time. Just a few minutes walk to Jimmy's Beach, which was great for swimming and playing in the sand. There was an outdoor shower in the backyard, which if you access through the side gate is perfect for washing off sand. Cozy rooms and lovely air conditioned living space. We watched a few of the movies provided while lounging on the couch. Overall this was a great stay and I would definitely recommend to people staying with friends or even family.

Lovely Quiet Spot - Hawks Nest

We had a lovely stay here. So quiet and so close to the Myall river and the bay. Our whole family loved the fishing, swimming and walks along the beach. The dogs loved their stay as well. Communication with Anna was very pleasant and easy. Highly recommend!

Great house. The best spot in Hawks Nest for a holiday.

Thanks Anna we had a fabulous stay. My family previously had a holiday house a few doors down and staying here has felt like a welcome return home! Beautiful house and location, perfect for a couple of families. Jimmy’s beach is an effortless stroll round the corner. Anna was very responsive and helpful during our stay.

Hawks Nest Holiday House

The house had a good vibe when I walked in. It suited our family group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers very well and it’s proximity to our favorite spot Jimmy’s Beach was the draw card when I booked. This will be my first choice for our next visit to Hawks Nest.

Great place, great location

A fantastic little getaway, excellent location, really well equipped kitchen. However, the back deck a bit dodgy in some places and not real good for toddlers One of boards was broken, so had to place an esky in the middle of the deck so no-one would go through it, some of the other boards around the broken one were pretty rotten. Front sprinkler coming on around the time that cars are being packed for checkout was an extreme hinderance.

Relaxing break with our dogs

We were delighted to spend our first holiday for many years at 54 The Anchorage Our accommodation was perfect for our needs There was a wonderful fenced in backyard Which enabled us to take our faithful doggie companions and keep them safe. Anna was a wonderful host and made us very welcome and provided some great tips about the local eateries . The accommodation was in a great location and we enjoyed many walks around the area The area itself is very beautiful with lots of native birds and plants

Hawks Nest Stay

I was very disappointed that nowhere in the description I found that dogs are not allowed inside. I have 2 Chihuahuas, they can not be outside, as one of them cannot get back up onto the deck. Having said that, they loved the huge backyard, there was a lot to explore and it was safe for them to do it. The sprinklers go on at 8.39 am, since the time for being out of there is 9.30am, make sure everything is packed before that time. My husband was disappointed to leave his valuable fishing rods on the back deck, with the chance of being stolen. My last concern is, that the windows were not clean. Other than that the house had all the utensils needed. Loved the bath and surroundings and the views to the Singing Bridge and River .
